Eagar Heating and Cooling

Chris Eager and his team just installed a new furnace and air conditioning unit in our home. Our current units were 15 years old, original to the home, and undersized so we didn't get much air on the upper level. Chris recommend new, larger Amana units that would be much more energy efficient, saving us money, and helping to better heat and cool our home. So far they are working great!
I've known Chris for several years now. This is the second time he's done a new installation for us. About five years ago he installed a new Tempstar furnace in our town house. We had a very old furnace at the time and the new Tempstar was a much needed upgrade. Chris also helped us qualify for the Utah Home Performance Plan, a state run program at the time, that saved us a lot of money on the new furnace.
Chris is professional, dependable, and fairly priced. I appreciate that he takes the time to answer all of my many questions and educate me on different options and technology. Chris has also done work for many of my friends and neighbors.

My Furnace stopped working, I called them and they came promptly and diagnosed the problem (faulty circuit board).  They had the board I needed on the truck so they didn't have to order any parts.

We have used Eagar Heating several times since moving into our new (old) home. When we first moved in, our gas fireplace did not work, and we found them accidentally in the phone book. Unlike many fireplace repair shops we have worked within the past, they were fast, efficient, and actually wanted our business! The repair was done quickly, and we have had a beautiful, functional fireplace ever since. (He was one of the few that actually returned our phone calls!)
Unfortunately, we lost their contact information until recently, when we needed a new air conditioning unit. We postponed it as long as we could, and then got bids from several of the big players. All were very expensive and recommended large-scale high-end replacement systems. On recommendation from my sister in law, we called Eagar at the last minute to get a final bid. Chris showed up on time, bid the job 30% lower than the competitors ($5,500 instead of $8,500!), and got us cool again in no time. We didn't realize until he showed up for the bid that he was the same guy that had given us such great service on the fireplace two years earlier. We won't lose his contact information again!

He was great!  He had the best price I could find, and I would highly recommend him!

The work was good. We had the same service done shortly after they worked on it. They did do a good job. They got to us in a very timely manner. They also remounted the unit on a new concrete slab.
