We were amazed by the job Park City Painting did, and we are not easy to amaze. Scott (owner) came out the same day we called him and sent us an estimate the next day, which was very reasonable. We had timing constraints on when the work had to be done and he assured us they could work around the schedule of our flooring contractor and still meet our deadline.
Kerrick was our point man from there on in. He called to tell us when he could get started and showed up the morning he said he would. He completed the work on the one finished room in the house while the flooring work was being completed and coordinated his future coming and goings with the floor contractor so as to maximize work time while staying out of their way. That may sound like a little thing but because we were staying off site during the messy and smelly stage of sanding and staining it was a huge help to not have to handle the coordination ourselves and was greatly appreciated.
The staircase trim was especially tricky but because Kerrick?s work was so neat and precise there was not one missed spot or errant drop of paint anywhere. The final coat was flawless.
As the deadline was approaching (we had movers lined up to move our furniture back in) Kerrick brought in another painter (equally professional) to ensure they would be done on time. Not only did they get done on schedule but Kerrick offered to do touchups on the walls that had gotten dinged during the floor installation. He also touched up the lodge polls on the staircase with some magic elixir that filled in some bleached spots and evened out the tone where they were showing some wear and tear. He wouldn't even take anything extra for the extra effort. Who does that sort of thing anymore!!? Seriously, I was blown away.
Great company, great people, doing absolutely great work. It was such a pleasure doing business with mature professionals for a change. Needless to say we would hire them again in a New York minute, and probably will.

"In response to this comment, The Park City area with its high mountain elevations and sub-zero temperatures creates a harsh environment and coatings need to be maintained regularly and protected from ice and snow build up, this fellow simply doesn’t want to hear that. In our proposal we offer an extended warranty, for this reason, which he declined and now wants the benefit of the warranty even though he declined to pay for it. Although we gratuitously touch up areas on his house that ice and snow build ups caused some damage to our coating, three years after our paint job two years after our one year warranty expired. I told him that he needed heat wire and gutters to prevent this from continuously occurring, which he did not and has not done. We have gone the extra mile with this person and it was him that was abusive with his bully attitude and tone, and four years later he writes a negative report. His comments are erroneous, unfounded, blatantly eschewed of the truth and contradictive to the facts and simply he tried to bully us to repaint items that were failing due to his own lack of proper maintenance and willful ignorance."
"This review is baffling, the person who wrote this is obviously confused and vindictive for something I didn’t even paint, his deck. We did work for this guy back in 1998, he hired us again to re-paint the house in 2003, and we even gave him a discount and a 2 year warranty for being repeat client. Never did he call or complain about our work and if there was something wrong we would have corrected it and even in his review which he wrote 3 years later, 2006, he said he’d rehired us? Our first job lasted for 5 years which is extremely good for a Mountain house at 7000 feet elevation. To come back and write such a review is wrong, he was not even a member in 2003 nor is he a member now. I have an A+ rating with the Better Business Bureau and would never leave a customer not properly cared for and have a record to prove it. I’ve worked in the Park City, Utah area for over 30 years and I am completely sadden by this person’s review and just bewildered. One last thing, he used and example about me suggesting to cover his deck, he solicited me for what I thought, because he painted his own deck and it was peeling due dripping from the roof line and it was exposed to the weather, so whatever he I said that he thought was wrong, you all can judge for yourselves. ..."
