We called Mountain Aire AC because they installed our AC and furnace when we built our home in 2005.

We were amazed that to replace a thermostat--which may or may not have needed replacing--cost $278.
Response from Mountain Aire Heating and Air Conditioning
"The homeowner states that the air conditioning was working when the technician left, so apparently both the homeowner and the technician believed that the problem was corrected. There is no way for a company to know if a problem returns unless the homeowner notifies them. It is unfortunate, in today’s world, that we seem to have zero tolerance for anyone who makes a mistake. Some people would rather ‘throw them to the sharks’ by posting negative comments online than make one phone call that would resolve the problem. Mountain Aire is a reputable company run by human beings who, while not perfect, do appreciate the chance to improve their service, including rectifying issues as they arise. This likely could be accomplished at a lesser cost to the homeowner than by bringing in another company, who would need to start from scratch. We regret that the homeowner was dissatisfied, and that we weren’t given the chance to make things right."

They has a reasonable price and excellent service. After the service was performed, they had one of the management team come out and inspect the work which was unexpected and appreciated.
