Excellent service, replacing a faulty main board. Quick, efficient, honest, and cheaper than initially stated, which was a win-win.

The tech found the problem quickly. Identified what needed to be done. Once parts were received the leaking hose was replaced and the problem solved.

Offered to come the day I called but that was inconvenient for me; he was punctual on the day and time on which we agreed.  He diagnosed the problem, replaced the fan and defrosted the coils in the freezer.  He placed the plastic fan cover outside but, as it was a cool day, I defrosted it in the sink at his suggestion.  He did not itemize his bill, so a comparison to other services is futile.  His truck states "Appliance Professionals" or a similar phrase but wants to be paid to his name.

why they didn't fit right, but he had fixed it.  About 6? months later the pipes came apart (he had used the wrong fittings and had not sealed the pipe. (the plumber who did eventually correct the repair, let us know that what he had done was not "up to code" and should never have been repaired as it was)  We had a flood resulting in a few thousand dollars damage.  Our insurance paid for some of it, but with deductibles and our doing a lot of the work ourselves we still came in several hundred dollars out of pocket cost.  My washer broke and I called them to fix it so I could recover some of my loss.  His son came out to do the washer and after he had almost fixed it, he said I would still have problems because the motor was going out.  After I told him the story of the flood, he yelled at me and said his father did not do that kind of shoddy work and therefore it wasn't  their problem and he left . He was very upset and rude.  I expected a call from his father, but it has been a few months and have heard nothing.  My washer is still not working right???

First, he was 2 hours late.   I called after half an hour and was told it he would be here in about another half hour or so.  He called about 45 minutes later and said it would be another half hour.  That part is understandable if he got stuck on a project but I would have appreciated a call around the first scheduled time to let me know.
He checked on the washer for quite awhile, could not find the problem.  Said it might be bearings going out but could not find the cause of the noises.  There was dirt, looked almost like sand in the handle opening of the pedestal.  Apparently it did not register with him that it could be an indication of the issue. 
So I ended up having Sears come out and the guy ran the spin cycle with and without clothes and found the issue.  A part had broken and was being kind of ground down and that is what that dirt/sand stuff was.  Now waiting for parts.  I don't think the Sears guy was here more than 20 minutes or half an hour. 

Larry was 30 minutes late in getting there. He did not even call me to say he was going to be late. Then he charged me $79 to determine that it was the thermostat that needed to be replaced. NOW, I find out that many companies will give free estimates. They do not charge to diagnose. They only charge if you have them fix it. So now I am using Tom Mcconnell who owns Pleasant Air (801-787-1892) who will diagnose at no cost.

Larry came out within 30 minutes of my call, our refrigerator had stopped running the previous day. He go to work straight away and got it running within an hour, cleaned and vacuumed the back of the refrigerator as well. Answered all our questions, and did a terrific job!

This morning, my furnace started blowing cold air.  I called a few places on Angie's List and found a couple who said they could come this afternoon.  Mr. Johnson said that he would come over as soon as he finished the job he was on.  He gave me an estimate of about 2 hours and was here earlier than that.  He did a thorough inspection of the furnace and found that a part was not working.  He found the part locally, picked it up, and installed it.  I again have heat!  He was personable, punctual, and fast.  I would definitely call him again!

My refrigerator had stopped running.  I looked on Angie's List and found
Larry Johnson Appliance Repair had very good reviews.  I called and
made an appointment, and he arrived on time.  He quickly determined that
a small relay needed to be replaced, and he told me that that part
comes in a three-part piece now, and the only way to replace it is to
replace the entire three-piece part.  He told me the price was $225.  He
worked quickly and also cleaned out the area underneath the
refrigerator and vacuumed that area.  Within a few hours, the unit was
cool, I had ice in the freezer, and was able to use the refrigerator
again.  He charged only for the replacement of the part and not for a separate service call in addition. 

I decided to fix these appliances and found Larry E. Johnson LLC on Angie's List. I called & they came out the same day. He was prompt & knowledgable, fixed the problems, and gave us recommendations on how to replace the oven. I am pleased with the service.

Approximately two year old GE dishwasher was not cleaning as it once did. After months of putting up with it, I called this provider. He was able to do a diagnostic appointment that afternoon. He also told me the diagnostic charge before we confirmed the appointment. He scheduled within 2-3 pm, and arrived a little later (I am not dinging him for this, that is the nature of this type of service business, as my visit also likely took a little longer than normal). He diagnosed the problem as an issue with the pump. He quoted $200 for parts and $100 labor and then recommended that replacement might be the better option. He said if we still wanted the work done (after investigating replacement/installation costs) that he'd be glad to order the part and schedule the work. He also left recommendations on a replacement (brand, stores, installation prices). I appreciated there were no surprises, he was genuinely interested in providing "service" and not just padding his pocket. (Please note that my "B's" are NOT a reflection of sub-standard price or quality. The price was a good value between a willing buyer and seller. The quality was consistent with the price and what was needed. Please contrast that with the A's I gave, which meant that I was Overall impressed with his responsiveness and professionalism, irrespective of the price.) I would (and will) personally recommend this provider, and will call him first personally if I have similar issues.

I called for service on a dishwasher that was not cleaning. He came out and looked, said it was not the dish washer, it is the detergent, (county laws have eleminated sulfates) he gave me advise on the detergent and to add vinager to each load. It worked, and he will be called again if I have any appliance problems.

Larry was prompt, professional and easy to work with. He quickly diagnosed the problem and had the washer fixed.

We have had Larry to several service calls for us. He is older, very likeable and knows what he is doing. The nice thing about Larry is that he does everything. Commercial and residential. I haven't compared pricing, but when its done right, thats more important to me.
