Clear Solar

It went very poorly...A company rep named Derick Boss, whose card indicates he is a "Sales Manager", came by my house. He said this company was based out of Utah, but they were expanding into California and offered to give me an estimate for Solar Panes on my home. Since I was in the market, I agreed. He made a cursory review of my roof and I provided him with my previous year's electrical use from the provider's website. He said he would complete the estimate and get back to me. 2 weeks passed and I did not hear from him. I called him and we made an appointment for him to return. When he showed up, he only had a verbal estimate, but nothing in writing. I asked that he provide this, to which he agreed, but would "email" it to me the following day. That was in early March, and I'm still waiting for the emailed estimate. FYI, I researched the company in the California Better Business Bureau website and discovered they had an "F" rating in California. Price: It was lower than all the other estimates, but also only had about half the solar panels that all the other companies (4 of them) indicated I would need, 10 vs 18. So in effect, I would pay $1200 per panel, as opposed to the $833 per panel that I eventually purchased.
