zI hired Brigham Larson Pianos to tune our first piano for my son. When the technician was about finished with the tuning my son was there watching him tested a key and said: "Hmm..this key has a little buzzing sound." My son heard it but he didn't know what's the buzzing sound is. When the technician told me he finished the tuning did not mention anything wrong on my piano only said: "You have a nice piano". My son played the piano the next few days start noticed one key have the strange sound and realized that was the buzzing sound the technician was saying about. After he told me the story, I contacted the Brigham Larson Pianos owner expecting he should send the technician to come back to fix the key but he told me the key having buzzing sound is not under the tuning charge if he has to send the technician back will be a $75 service call charge. I'm disputing with the owner the key buzzing sound issue should be taken care of at the time of the tuning. I learned that after I spoke with a few other piano tuning companies. They all told me that the technician should be taking care of under the tuning unless something is broken or needs repair. Brigham told me I'm being ridiculous to ask him to send his technician to come back to fix the key for free and me disputing the problem was annoying to him. I want to share my experience especially to whom it is the first time looking for piano tuning service. I found there's companies or an individual elsewhere under Angie's List that charges $90 for piano tuning plus an additional 30 minutes extra included if works needed to be done to the piano such as voicing and pedals adjustment. The owner Brigham did come back fix the key later after I threaten to file a complaint on him. It's only taken him 5 minutes to do some adjustments on the string. He came in with a very unpleasant & arrogant attitude the whole time showing like " I am doing you a big favor for free". It was another good lesson for me to learn about in life. So, carefully find someone trusty for your piano tuning not to get rip off. The technician from the Brigham Larson Pianos left behind the buzzing sound on the key for later be the problem for a service call and the greedy cunning owner, Brigham, seeing only money in his eyes. Luckily my son catches the moment and told me about it. To be clear I paid $150 top price for their tuning service. You can find a cheaper and better tuning service provider elsewhere!!

Brigham arrived on time and helped us clear everything off the piano, then tuned for 45 minutes or so and turned our struggling piano back into a concert-quality instrument in short order! He even made a small repair (for free) and I couldn't be more impressed with the service he provides.

They are timely, professional and did a good job. They will call you to remind you about the annual tune up. They are friendly and their prices are reasonable.
