Everything went well. A previous guy quoted me $4100 for new A/C. Bergman was able to top of the coolant and only cost my $200. Big savings.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS CONTRACTOR!! Bergmann installed an AC unit to my new home. This summer starts its third summer of use. Last year the unit was not blowing cold air. I called out a Bergmann tech to come and fix the problem. He hooked up his equipment to check the fluid levels. He accidentally blew out the coolant, he refilled the coolant but was unable to see if there was a leak. This year my as was low again. Because of what happen last year I called a different company to come out and test the levels. They coolant was very low and almost empty. They said that I had a leak and it would have to be fixed. Because the unit has had to be charged each summer it was never properly installed. It had a leak when it was installed. I called Burgman would come out and warranty the work that they did. The man on the phone was rude and told me that because we had another company check the levels that he would not warranty the work. The man rudely hung up on me. This is not except able!

I like their prompt service. I have had them replace entire air-conditioning units and they were always professional, do a good job and were willing to come and help me.

We have been using them ever since we bought the duplex. They come out every year. They have always been very good. They are reasonably priced. I like them and would definitely recommend them.

They are very flexible with their scheduling and prompt, they usually come within one day. I've always been satisfied with their work.

HE came on time and went out to check the AC unit. I had to track down the circuits, but that didn't take long. He said that we should make sure the back of the AC unit's intakes are clean; he said people are careful to check the sides they can reach, but they forget the sides they can't. He said just simply spray them off well with the hose when we clean. He then came inside to check the blowers on the furnaces (we have two). One of the unit's blowers was very dirty. He pulled the whole assembly and took it outside to clean off and proceeded to tell me how it was one of the dirtiest blower units he had seen and said how the motor was overheating because its intakes were clogged with dust. I was shocked, but more for the reason that I've had this company and this technician coming to check my furnaces every year for the past three years and this is the first time he noticed this. Better late than never, but I would think that he would acknowledge their own neglect!
