Artistic Plastering

In September 2009, We discovered that water was coming into our home from improperly installed roof flashing.  The owner of Artistic Plastering, Pedro Rojas, came out and said that his team could fix the roof flashing and also repair the stucco that was damaged by water.  We thought the repair was done properly, and then a year and a half later when we were doing renovations in the room that was affected by the leak, we pulled up carpet to discover that the subfloor was wet.  Upon further inspection, we realized that water was coming into the house from the exact location that should have been repaired.  Water has most likely been entering the house for the last year and a half, but because it was behind a wall we couldn't see it.  We called Pedro right away but he did not return our calls.  We had two contractors come out  and both determined that the roof flashing, gutter and building papers behind the stucco that Artistic Plastering put up during the repair were all installed incorrectly.  The poor work done by this company caused more damage than what we originally had.  It is now a $4000 repair.  Pedro Rojas finally called me back after we hired a competent company and said "I know with my heart that the repair was done correctly."  Really???  I know with my eyes that it wasn't.  Also, during our last conversation Pedro repeatedly told me that he was a man of his word and that Artistic Plastering would return the money of the original repair, but I haven't seen a dime.
