Pool and Spa Servicing
This was the second pool liner I had them install and like the first, it leaked almost from day one. The leakage was most troublesome during the winter because the water level drops so low that the pool cover collapses, often requiring a new cover. The quality of their work was bad at the beginning and did not improve over time.They are always ready to take my money but seem to disavow any responsibility for the problem that their product/services caused. I would never use them again for anything.

We requested that the compnay send out a representative to winerize the
pool. The employee who they sent had to keep calling the main office to
get instruction on how to close the pool up for the winter. We had
just purchased the home and the previous home owner happen to be at the
house. They actually helped the service man close up the pool. Would
not use this company wasted my money.

The install did go well. While the liner itself looks great, the installation itself was poor. Areas that had previously been covered with liner were now bare. Worst of all, the pool leaks a ton of water. When I talked to them about the problem, I was told to keep putting water in pool to keep the level up. When I said that winter was coming and I was afraid of what would happen to the pool cover if the pool water level keeps dropping, I was told to make sure to keep it filled during the winter. I said it was impractical to try to keep a pool topped off during winter because of ice and snow covering the yard. Bottom line--the water level dropped, the pool cover ripped and has to be replaced.
I should add that when their pool installer built the pool, he screwed up the staining of the concrete deck around the pool. Then he tried to fix the problem and ended up staining the inside of the pool itself. Seven years later, the concrete deck started to disintegrate and had to be covered with a composite deck. In the second year, the pool's skimmer cracked and has had to be repaired at least twice. Worst of all, the pool leaked water almost from the start and I have spent hundreds of dollars with Sunplay and other companies to try to detect the leak. Discussions with their staff have been unhelpful except they are always willing to come out and spend more of my money.
All in all, I would not deal with them again for anything.

Nice people. Good products. Don't count on their service! We had our hot tub cover blow open during a major windstorm. It filled up with leaves and was a total mess.
I called Sun Play because we bought our hot tub from them. I scheduled a cleaning ONE WEEK IN ADVANCE. Even though I was concerned with waiting a week with all the crap that was now in the water, they assured me it would be okay. I was also told that by scheduling that far in advance there would be no problem for them to get here that day, Their words, not mine.
At 11:35 the scheduled day, I finally got confirmation I was on the schedule. I was then told that they may not make it that day! "Will tomorrow be okay?" Tomorrow is NOT OKAY! That is why I scheduled a full week in advance: SO I WOULD GET IT DONE TODAY! What the h*** is wrong with people? I got a pretty much don't give a s*** attitude from them.
I called them back after 12:30 and they still gave me the "He'll probably still be able to make it today..." crap, with still a don't-really-care tone. I cancelled the appointment and called Leisure Pool and Spa and scheduled it with them. They gave me an actual time window on the day I needed. BTW, I saved almost $50 by doing that!
If I ever buy another hot tub or pool, I will definitely think again about going with Sun Play.

Sun Play did fix it, but it took two or three trips because they didn't have the part, then the part had to be ordered, etc. It took a week to get done. Considering they told me this was a common issue, I was surprised they didn't have the part on hand the first trip out.

I felt like this company was very professional. The company was very smart to bring in extra plugs. The company was very close to their estimates. They also completed this in a very timely manner for me.

They were very good. When the contractors could not make it out they called in some others. They stuck right to their time frame. We had a very good experience with this Sunplay Pools and Spa.

We had them build two pools for us. We had a couple of issues with the second pool, but they did resolve them. I have recommended them to friends and also family members.
