First visit, two plumbers said blockage was cleared, they sent a camera down the line and said it looked ok. Next day, laundry drain backed up again, a different Bachman plumber looked at it again and said it all looked good. He recommended calling Dave at DrainTech. Dave came out today, found the problem and cleared it ... for now. We're already out $1300 and we still need to get an excavator/septic guy to repair a broken drain line in the yard. Will not call Bachman in the future

We replaced a old electric cook top with a new gas model. We needed a gas supply line run to the kitchen.  We had an estimate from another "A" rated contractor that I've used in the past.  Their estimate was $ 2,000 for the job and it would take about a week to get on the schedule.  According to them we needed to increase the size of the line coming into the hose to ensure adequate gas volume.  They made that recommendation without doing any measurements.  Because of the dollars involved I decided to get a second estimate.  We called Bachman and they sent a technician out the next day.  They did the measurements of gas volume and said that because we don't have any large units that require gas and the distance for the new line was about 25 feet from the existing line to the furnace and water heater we didn't need to increase the supply line size.  They had all the materials on the truck and there were was an apprentice working with the technician so they could do the job right then. It took about two hours.  They cleaned up when the job was done and every thing works just fine.

We purchased a home that had radiant heat within the floors.  The home is slab on grade which meant that the heating tubes were poured into the cement, with no way to adjust them.  To add insult to injury, they were all in a single zone, which was terribly inefficient where it came to heating the entire house.  After some research we had Mike come out to give us a bid.  Mike and his team rapidly found a solution that was much more cost effective than I though it would be and did the work.  They did an excellent job and came in with a final bill that was under the original estimate.
I will use them for all my plumbing in the future and will refer them to all I know.

As usual, they were prompt, professional, took care of the job quickly and cleaned up after themselves. Always feel price is very reasonable for the job.

We have had ongoing problems with this house in certain areas, fixing sections as we go and repairing and undoing what other companies did (ripped us off big time). Mike Bachman is my 'go-to' plumber! Highly recommend!!

We first used Mike Bachman Plumbing approximately 10 years ago, at which time we joined their Diamond Club. With the membership, we pay $7.95/month. The benefits have resulted in significant money savings with discounts on fixtures and, more importantly, the items they found on the free annual inspection that were corrected before they became bigger problems. This Web address will take you to a page that will provide more info on the Diamond Club: http://www.mikebachmanplumbing.com/the-diamond-club.php.
Their service has always been excellent. - friendly, prompt, professional and competitively priced.

I encourage people not to use this company. I have never worked with a company that was as rude as this company. They are very rude when it comes to any issues that arise. He screamed at me over the phone and I was running a daycare at that time and the children could hear him screaming through the phone. This was all over me saying that I thought the price should have been reduced as some things were not done correctly.

The drain in the main bathroom tub has always been slow. (The house was built in 1936 and remodeled in the sixties; we have lived in it for seventeen years.) When the tub stopped draining almost completely and normal efforts such as plunging and drain cleaners had no effect, I called Mike Bachman Plumbing. It took the two technicians approximately two hours to cut out the old iron trap and pipe and replace with ABS. I had previously exposed the section in question by cutting away part of the ceiling around the trap. It turned out that the old style "drum" trap was not the problem; it was the pipe between the trap and the main drain pipe that was almost completely clogged with years of accumulated debris.
The access was awkward enough that I was reluctant to tackle it myself. The work done was prompt, as promised and completely professional (the second technician worked mainly as a "go-fer"). However, for two hours work and about $25 worth of material, the price charged ($550) seems excessively high. Should have noted the comments of others about their work being "pricey."

I had a tenant call to inform me their toilet and tub were backed up at 9:00 at night. The owner of the company promptly answered his phone and I asked for an approximate estimate to clear the sewer line. He explained that because of the time of day he has to pay his guys extra and there would be a $95.00 charge just for them to come out. I was told it was hard for him to give me a price until they get in there and see what they have to deal with but it would most likely be about $400.00, possibly less if it turns out to be something minor.
The plumber arrived quickly and called to tell me that since they could not get their equipment into the bathroom due to the narrow door, it would cost an additional $99.00 for them to run the pipe down the drain pipe on the room. The plumber then called about an hour later to let me know the job was completed and the charge was $630.00, minus the $26.00 coupon I mentioned was offered in the phone book.
I would expect to pay additional for a night time service but I feel I was charged way too much based on roughly a 1 1/2 hour job. They seem to take every opportunity to tack on an extra fee. I feel they do good work and respond quickly but the pricing was ridiculous.

I have always been happy with their service. They are a little more pricey, but it is worth it to me for the quality service they have provided. I have used them over the past 9 years.

I spent over $100 for their services. It was good because the guy fixed the problem. He did a good job. He knew what he was doing and he was professional. I thought he was kind of pricey. I would use his services in the future too, but I hope I don't have any more plumbing problems.

He came out and he was kind of in a bad mood I believe because he had to come out on a weekend. Within 24hours I had major flooding. I had to call another plumber to come out and fix the problem. They had to replace some of the pipe and connections Mike Bachman didn't fix completely. The other company fixed it thank goodness but I had a huge disaster that I had to deal with. My hardwood floor was wet and I had to run fans for days which was pretty distracting. Luckily my homeowners paid for the repair of the hardwood flooring damage.

They completed the job quickly and properly. They had trouble finding the address and they were pretty cranky about that. They did not take very good care in my house. The person walked straight in into my house with his boots and lefts marks on the floor. He then grabbed one of my hand towels and used it. They did not give great service. I have not used them since. They were pretty helpful and the price was reasonable for what they did. They were pretty responsive. I was pretty unimpressed with the way they were in my house leaving dirt and using towels without asking me.

Contractor was on time, and performed tasks as expected. I have used this company before, and was happy, but my disappointment is with the amount I was charged for relatively simple tasks. He finished all of the jobs in just a few minutes, but the bill was over $400.00. I was told that the showerhead + installation was approx $250 which seemed excessive, and then was charged $150.00 for the rest was unbelievable.

It went fine. They're a bit pricey but they do good work. This particular job wasn't too much, but I've used them in the past. This job was about $70 and they were here about five minutes.
