He tore down a brick fireplace that covered about a third of the wall and the hearth as well as the paneling on the rest of the wall.  He repaired and painted that wall.  He then removed and painted another wall in that room.  He also removed the wallpaper and painted the entire dining room.  Note:  the wallpaper had been put on with some type of glue that made it extremely difficult to remove.  He also did several small jobs around the yard and house as well;  i.e. replaced light fixtures, rewired the overhead light in the garage so it would be a 3 way switch and did maintenance on the garage door opener so it would quick sticking when it was only halfway open.  
He works fast but does a great job.  I was always around asking questions on what he was doing and he was very good at explaining things so I understood.  (My hope being that I could learn to do some of these things myself).  
One final comment ;;; I had previously had 2 different handymen in to give me quotes on repairing or removing the fireplace and hearth and all 3 declined the job because it would be such a messy difficult and time consuming job.  

He repainted the walls and ceiling of the bathroom, then he removed the vinyl flooring & added support materials to the floor because the floor was not up to safely code standards.  He then used ceramic tiles on the floor and 2 feet up the sides of the bathtub.  He did an excellent job and did it in a very timely fashion. He also repainted my hallway.
