I contacted Ernesto's Tree service through Angie's List on Saturday.  He emailed me back Sunday morning.  He was at my house Monday morning for an estimate and returned Tuesday to remove the stumps.  He was on time for every scheduled visit.  His employees were very courteous and respectful.  They started the job at 9 and were done by 10.  They cleaned their mess and left my yard in great condition.  I will be calling them for all my tree needs from now on.

I would use this company again, I was satisfied with the work, the cleanup, the interactions and the price! The only complaint or interaction that left me with not 100% review was that I am a paying Angieslist member and they were offering a 10% discount for being an Angieslist member.
When I verbally presented this discount at payment to Ernesto he responded that this was only for seniors. Luckily I had a prompting to print out the page from the website showing the discount prior to meeting with Ernesto. I presented it to Ernesto confirming this was in fact a member discount offered to Angieslist members. After I showed this printed page he honored the discount and said it was a mistake on the listing and should only be for Seniors.
As I review their page on Angieslist now, they still have this same discount displayed with nothing mentioning it is only for seniors.
Other than that interesting experience I have nothing but good feedback! Big crew and got it all taken care of very quick. Thnk you and sorry for the late feedback.

Ernesto and his team (four individuals total for this job) arrived approximately 15 minutes prior to the agreed upon time of 9:00 a.m. (That timing worked out fine for all parties involved.) Once the chipper was properly positioned, the crew began sawing and 'chipping' immediately. (In our instance, stumps were not ground down due to fences being obstacles.) The larger branches were cut into approximately 18" lengths suitable for use as fire wood. The remaining branches were fed to the chipper. At the request of the neighbors where the work was performed, all remaining logs and 'chips' were left for them to use at their convenience.  Including clean up, Ernesto's team was finished by noon...remarkably, they had completed the task within three hours. (We had anticipated it would take all day.) We paid the agreed amount and Ernesto and his crew were on their way. OUTSTANDING job all around...very well worth the price paid!

I was going to pay for taking down the tree, but my neighbor backed down on the agreement so I did not end up using Ernesto's service. Ernesto came out and gave me an estimate and I thought it was a very fair estimate. Ernesto is very easy to work with; he is fair and honest.

They are very good. They trimmed the trees just like we wanted. They cleaned up their mess. It just like they stayed on the task. There were no mistakes. Somebody was always working.
