Archstone was great to work with throughout the remodel process from the initial bid to the completion of the project. They are specialists in 203K type remodels and Wells Fargo remodel loans. We purchased a "fixer-upper" that ended up needing a LOT of non-cosmetic work. Archstone was able to work within our budget and they were very transparent with expenses and costs. Some highlights of their work ethic: - They were very responsive throughout the process always taking our calls and responding immediately to our concerns. - They did a fantastic job trying to keep cost overruns to a minimum. - The owners were personally on the job site almost every day of the three month remodel process. We ran into some huge issues, as with many older home remodels, including structural beams that were undersized and needed to be reinforced, complete rewiring of electrical, two floods (one from remodel, one from a broken water main on the street), reinforcing ceiling structural elements, complete new roof, almost impossible to match uneven wood floors that had not been installed correctly previously, and an exterior wall that needed to be structurally reinforced. Through this process Archstone took care of every detail and provided cost effective solutions. They were honest, hard working, and exceptional. We are very pleased with the finished product and will hire them again, as well as recommend them to any of our friends/family.
