They were on time. Kept me appraised of what was going on. Seemed knowledgeable about the best approach to the job. Cleaned up and were gone.

WOW!  Mike and his crew did an amazing job of trimming a tree so that the back branches were no longer over the roof.  Mike's suggestion to NOT cut the front of that tree helped to maintain the aesthetics of the tree.  THANKS, MIKE!!  The crew also removed a large limb that had grown over a fence and into a neighbors yard.  Finally, the most challenging job involved cutting down a Cottonwood tree that was very close to my house. 

The entire crew was extremely courteous and cleaned up my yard well.  I appreciated receiving the company’s proof of insurance prior to them coming to do the work.  I will definitely be calling them for future tree trimming and removal needs. 

P.S.  They also took the time to remove a shrub for a neighbor while they were here!!

They arrived promptly. Mike is extremely knowledgeable and we felt confident in what he could do. When the work was done Mike walked around the property with me and discussed what they did, what would be good to do in the future and what to look for. His crew left our yard spotless, and in better shape than before they arrived. Mike blew off our roof from all of the branches he removed that were on the roof and hanging over it. He brought me out and showed me the maple before they started cleaning up to make sure it looked ok and to see if there was anything else I wanted trimmed. We will not hesitate to use him in the future.

They got right to work climbing up in the tree and started roping off branches.  It was a very hard job since the deck had been built around the tree.  I was so impressed with the ingenuity, timing, precision and professionalism I witnessed.  They were careful and didn't harm my deck at all.  Highly recommend this company!

Service and responsiveness was excellent. They had the trees down in 1 day. We had a delay with the stump grinding. Part way thru the job the grinder broke and they had to wait for parts to repair the machine. But as soon as they got the equipment repaired they were back out and finished the job. Quoted price was less than I had anticipated the job would cost me. Overall very happy with the service. Will not hesitate to hire again. Mike has certainly earned my business.

Knowledgeable arborist provided excellent advice during estimate process. Did exceptional work, accomplished job rapidly and professionally, cleaned up area when complete - left our yard looking great! Great price!

It went great! Mike was very helpful and made sure everyone and everything was safe before starting our project. I felt confident they knew what they were doing and their bid came in a thousand cheaper then another company.

Removed 4 large tress. Very Professional, highly skilled and trained, well equipped, well organized and prepared for all aspects of the job, all the right experience and solutions for the unexpected  difficulties encountered, good support team, nice attitude when asked to take extra care of some aspect, cleaned up all cuttings and saw dust, cleaned up cuttings that fell in neighbors yard,  well focused on the job, no wasted time, courteous and efficient, all the right gear to protect our house, deck, Air conditioning, sprinklers, hand rails, driveway, neighbors property, 'and themselves'. Arrived on time, worked earnestly, conversation amongst themselves limited and was mostly about the job at hand, no loud radios, no smoking, showed respect for the property and residents, Excellent job and service. Mike is outstanding at what he does, his team is well timed and trained in support.

mike and his crew are outstanding !!  both visits, they arrived as planned and ready to go.  completely professional and well prepared.  took great care with surroundings.  total clean-up.  and in our opinion, worth every penny.  we highly recommend all woods to anyone who has tree issues or for yearly maintenance.......firewood too.  

Had to have a couple of tree's trimmed to meet city code for sidewalk and street clearance.  Mike Wood promptly came by within 24 hrs to review and gave estimate on the work that had to be done.  I had 2 weeks in which to comply with the city ordnance to trim my trees above the sidewalk and street .  I thought the bid was within what I figured was going to cost.  Mike was very prompt in coming back to complete the work.  He called to ask if they could come by on short notice and do the job, which I was pleased because earlier I was given a much longer lead-time.  This worked well into the 2-week window.  They completed the job in under an hour and did a thorough job.  This was work-in-progress when determining which limbs had to be removed or cut-back.  I thought Mike and his team were very professional with me, which I appreciated.  I would highly recommend All Wood's Tree Service.

This was a good experience from start to finish.  Mike ( owner/work crew leader) came and gave me a written estimate the day after I called.  He said that he could get to my job in about a week based upon his schedule. I got a second bid from another "A" rated Angies list provider and the prices were comparable.  
Mike and crew came 9 days later and did an excelent job. They were efficient and professional in evey aspect of the work.  It was a 40 ft. tree, so they used a lift to get to the top and block-and-tackel to prevent large piecies from falling and damaging my lawn, sidewalk or street. I thought at first that the cost was a little high but when I saw that it took three men with chainsaws using a lift, large wood chipper/blower and a trailer to haul away the big limbs and pieces of trunk, I realized that the cost was about right.  They cleaned up the wood chips and branches, even using a leaf blower to get as much as possible out of the area. The entire job was done in about 5 hours.  Overall a good experience, I would use them again.

Had a curly willow tree that needed to be trimmed so called and left several messages - took a few weeks until I was able to get appointment set to have someone come give me an estimate.  Then, another few weeks to schedule appointment to have work performed.  That was the ONLY bad thing.   Otherwise, service was provide exactly as quoted - on time and at cost quoted.  They are very knowledgeable and were able to answer all my questions.They cleaned up leaving area cleaner than before service was performed!  They even cleaned up some other tree cuttings we had left in the driveway!  Thanks Mike and Team! Will absolutely use them again!

Perfect, Mike Wood is a professional.  He and his crew work safely and have always charged exactly what they bid.  They clean up after themselves and are very polite and professional acting.  I have used them five times since 2006 and will definitely use again.

I searched Angies list to find a reliable tree surgeon and got one!  A bit hard to get ahold of as messages got lost or lost phone number, but organizational skills aside, we were very pleased with Mikes service.  When we finally settled on a time and date, Mike was here right on time.  There were two of them, and they got right to work, trimmed the trees, explained why they did what they did, and cleaned up.   Their charge was the same as their estimate.  A very nice experience for us.

I highly recommend them.  They are good.  They are very good at what they do and are very safe too.  They are hooked to harnesses and ropes like mountain climbers so that they are protected if they fall.  The tree is probably 150 feet high.  The last time they did some work was during last spring.  They use special equipment on their feet like claws to climb the trees.  They have to work their way up to the highest point in the tree so that they can attach hooks.  They make sure the branch is tied safely so that it does not fall down on the house and they then lower it with the rope.  They cut the wood up and leave it for you for fire wood, so that I could burn it.  They rake and scrape all of the other things till the last leaf and they grind it up and shred it.  They have an equipment to even grind the stump.  I had one tree that was fairly big and that went to the ground during a wind storm. They ground that stump to twelve inches below the surface.  There has been no sign of the tree since.  They worked for my son too during the last spring and he was really pleased with their work.  I have seen people who work on trees and even people who are very knowledgeable about what they are doing, but this guy is top notch.  He tops the trees which destroys all unnatural growth.  They shape it and form it so that the people looking at it do not feel it is some dramatic draconian cut and also so that when the wind blows in the winter it blows through the tree and does not make it fall down.  They know how to prune the trees.  I still think they are very competitive.  They were a little lower when I used them first.  I don’t know why the prices have gone up, but I can still say they are better.  You can always hire illegal immigrants to cut the trees down.  They are not bonded or insured and they probably do a pretty good job.  However, I think if you are dealing with someone professional and who are reliable for any damage they do, I think their price is probably right.  I rate them high overall.  They have always been very responsive.  They come out and give a bid and we commit to a price before they start.  They have never said they would charge me more to have something else done.  I will definitely use them again in the future.  I have never been displeased with them.

The time it took to get an appointment and the punctuality of the representative were both noticeably better than I experienced with 2 other tree services.  The representative was also much more helpful than the others had been, was more willing to go into several "what ifs" than the others had been, and provided much more information as to options and prices, as well as some technical information I needed concerning one particular type of tree. I plan on getting the work done this Summer or early this Fall, and have decided that I will use this company for it.

We called them out to prune the trees, and they suggested removal due to the proximity to the sidewalk and underground electrical wires, as the trees would grow larger roots and eventually become a problem. Because of the wires, they could only cut down the trees, not dig them out. We set up a time, and they were actually able to come sooner. They were fast and took all the cuttings away.
