The crew did an amazing job on my counter tops! I chose to have the backsplash go continuously granite. They picked the right slabs of granite for both, and the look is amazing! I would recommend them again.

Hired Jon to replace our center island top due to the previous top being cracked. On the phone, communication was good. He went out of his way to find a piece of slab that was discontinued for us. For that I am appreciative. During the in-home measurement, his customer service skills were okay at best. I open the front door and he just walked in. No hello, I'm Jon with Paul Dowland Tile... The quality of the new top is top notch. Measurements are exact, the corners and seam are clean and fit together well. However, I noted to Jon during measurement that our existing top has a think edge. He noted it and said something about how he doesn't do the same backing that they did, but it will look great. Prior to cutting the new top, Jon did call to tell me there is going to be a 1/2" difference between the new top and the old. I thought he meant a difference in the height from the floor. Turns out he was referring to a 1/2" difference in the edges from my current to the new top. So I'm now $4k into the project and the tops don't match.

Overall, the tile floor looks great. There were issues with the scheduling of the start date. Instead of telling me that the project couldn't be started earlier than the scheduled date, Paul kept telling that they might get there earlier. During the installing of the tile, my estimate included movement of furniture; however, there was a disagreement on what that meant and we had to work through it. Finally, they did not clean up at the end. There was hand prints on my walls, grout on the baseboards and doors, and water spots on my pictures and doors were they had placed the tile saw. If want a great looking tile floor and don't mind cleaning up after them, they are the team to use.

Did a good job, but we got pushed back a few times and found a billing error. All contractors are so busy these days though, and I'm just glad they were willing to take what was a smaller job than anticipated. They were quick to fix the error too.

Paul Dowland Tile saved our bathroom project that was botched by another local company. They jumped in on short notice with a team of professional installers that were courteous, quick and did high quality work at a competitive price. I would highly recommend this company to anyone in Salt Lake City or Park City who is looking for a reliable tile or counter-top installation company.

Jonscott was great to work with. As with any job there were a couple of hiccups along the way, but each time Jonscott was very professional and responsible. He resolved all issues promptly and was very conscientious. The tile layers were great and did an excellent job and cleaned up very nicely. I am very happy with the job and how it turned out.

Paul Dowland Tile installed our basement renovation porcelain tile flooring, brick accent wall and master bath shower and wainscot and we could not be happier. The team was always punctual, courteous and willing to discuss ideas throughout the project. JonScot was always available to address any questions or concerns. And the team regularly checked in throughout the process with updates. We highly recommend that you consider Paul Dowland Tile for your next project, you will not be sorry! Thank you for the beautiful tilework, we love it!

I had a "rush" job for my backsplash tile project in the kitchen and JonScot was amazing as he saw my urgent request on HomeAdvisor and responded immediately. He called me and even came to my house "after hours" to discuss everything and give me great ideas about tile and grout selection. The next day JonScot and Andrew arrived on time and completed the project in a timely and professional manner. I'm very pleased and would recommend them.

I could not have had a better experience! I was in a bind and they made room for my needs. They kind, efficient, affordable and most of all took pride in what they do. I am going to recommend them to family and friends for their tiling needs. Five stars all around.

I was very pleased with the performance of Paul Dowland Tile. The professionalism and on task mentality that they presented a whilst installing my tile was PHENOMENAL. I especially appreciate the efforts put forth by Jonscot Dowland. His care and precision for making my tile perfect was on point. Jonscott gets a 5 for customer service and sincere desire to do a good job. However, despite sincere desire, the results of the work are disappointing. In addition, eleven weeks into what was estimated to be a 2 week project, I was notified by Paul Dowland that we will need a judge to settle our agreement to disagree regarding the status of the project. So, I am rating quality, customer service, and value quite low. This site does not provide an option to post pictures, and Paul Dowland's website does not provide a place to post a review or pictures, so all I can do is list some of the problems that have not been corrected and apparently will require a court order before they will be corrected. Shower Installation: need to clean thinset and grout off of tiles, remove several pencil marks (which have been sealed) from tiles or replace the tiles, replace tile damaged by prior attempt to remove pencil mark , remove foreign objects (e.g., broken spacers, thinset, dirt) from grout lines and fill resulting holes, fill existing holes in grout lines, fix tiles with lippage of a quarter or more, remove wave in floor, straighten interior of curb, level interior window jam, straighten grout lines in accent tiles, clean epoxy haze off of tiles or replace them, and deliver the twice-promised written guarantee regarding water damage. Bathroom floor installation: need to clean thinset and grout off of tiles and walls, remove foreign objects from grout (e.g., broken spacer, other unidentified objects) and fill resulting holes, fill existing holes in grout, fix tiles with lippage of a quarter or more between ends of tiles (not the long edges which would introduce lippage due to camber).

This year I worked with two different installers and the difference between the professionalism and customer service was night and day. JonScott and his partner did an amazing job from start to finish. The communication was on point. He called when they were finishing up the job each day and told me what to expect when I got home, so there were no surprises. The work was on point and my floors look fantastic. They worked with my crazy schedule and never once made me feel as if I was an inconvenience to them. I was impressed from day one and highly recommend these guys.

JonScott was great at all stages of our project, and we appreciate their flexibility with our construction schedule. They provided clear communication from start to finish, and we'll certainly have them back to tile our bathrooms when we're ready. Cheers!

I had the professionals tile a deck with a big hot tub on it. I couldn't take the hot tub down, so they figured out a way to work around that issue. The professionals were creative, always had a can do attitude. The professionals have great values, I was impressed with their work and how timely they were to work on the job.
