The roof looks very good. An exhaust fan replacing an old swamp cooler was left on and removed later. I picked up 20+ roof nails in my grass which I couldn't see visually, with my own magnet.. They did come by the next day to pick up more with their huge magnet. Bare feet and roof nails don't mix.

Their roofing crew leaves debris on the roof and gutters. I had to spend another $200 to have gutters cleaned and debris removed on the roof.

They started without letting us know they were coming. They woke us up at 7:30 a.m. as they tore off the old roof. They blocked my car in the garage with their trash receptacle. They broke the fence when they were talking away their leftover supplies and garbage.

James was professional and friendly. The pricing was competitive and the work was done quick without mess left behind.

We had several bids that were thousands over Solaroo's bid and with the same products and warranty. I used to roof houses when I was younger so I knew what I was looking for. I wanted the old roof torn off, new flashing around the edge and vents, double layered shingles, three foot ice barrier around the edges and in the valleys. I did not want felt under the shingles. I wanted the new thin thermal wrap, which is very tough and durable, you can not just tear it. I also wanted ridge venting. They did over fifty squares in three days, including the tear off. They constantly cleaned up. They were ten thousand cheaper than Sears, with the same warranty and materials. I don't think I can say enough good about them. I kept asking the salesman if he had the price right. The workers were fantastic. We love the roof and I know it was done right. You can not go wrong with this company. The workers need to wear the company logo. I was concerned when the workers showed up without any documentation for Solaroo, so I called the representative at Solaroo to confirm that these workers actually were part of the company.

They were very helpful and fullfilled all of my requests. Beautiful roof!!!

Issue with the delivery of product turned a one day job into two. Had numerous calls with CS prior to job scheduled date was nice, however HOA restrictions that were clearly communicated at the initial contract signing date seemed to be a potential problem. Solaroo repeatedly had new requests that were not within the acceptable limits of the HOA. In the end the job was completed without a dumpster being necessary, however Sales and Install should be on the same page before project is bid/accepted. Cleanup of material was less than acceptable. Old roofing nails were all over the porch (never touched by crew after completion) and my dog suffered a deep cut on his paw that required cleaning/care. My wife picked up quite a few nails from the porch/deck after the crew left. Overall happy with the new roof and the company, just a few items that require some communication/coordination/improvement. Still a good value for the money
