I use Thornton for all my plumbing needs, especially work on my boiler and radiant heat system.  They show up when scheduled and charge a fair rate.  They are great to work with and I can count on them to do what they committed to doing when they said they would.

We used Thornton to replace the aging boiler in the house we just purchased. We upgraded it with a new, high efficiency boiler. Thornton's bid was the lowest one we received (they made an extra effort to find a less expensive model for us), and Thornton had the most obvious expertise with high efficiency boiler installation. The installation took place exactly on schedule, and the installation crew cleaned up thoroughly after themselves. A few months after the installation (which happened over the summer) the boiler stopped working properly, and the VP who had personally overseen installation made sure that it was fixed quickly. (The problem was a failed circuit board, replaced under warranty.) The people at Thornton have been very responsive and helpful when we have had questions, are knowledgeable and competent, and take obvious pride in doing a good job.

I left four days after the humidifier was installed. the setting was 25% humidity. The humidifier wasn't operating properly because it was located underneath the humidistat and that is what set it off. It stained the wood floors, two tabletops, antique bedroom set, and lost parts of furniture. They would not stand behind the problem and tried to blame me for it. The second tech. came and immediately saw that the humidifier was in the wrong place and moved it about 5 ft. away from the humidistat.

Great job, replaced old valve into house with new. Quick and prompt.

I live in a home that is almost 80 years old and it has the original steam heating system. I have used several plumbing and heating companies, and was extremely disappointed in the service received UNTIL I found Thornton (Bill Fuller is the boiler specialist who has worked on my system). The work they provide is superior and it always costs less than the estimate provided.
