REFUSED TO CORRECT HAZARDOUS CONDITIONS IN A TIMELY MANNER EVEN AFTER THOSE CONDITIONS HAD ALREADY CAUSED SERIOUS INJURY! Renters Warehouse of Salt Lake City hired a contractor to fix a leak - this was seven weeks after we moved in and the leak was from before we moved in.The contractor left a mess of bent ragged used nails all over the driveway and just left for a long weekend. I stepped on one getting out of my car and it punctured my foot so badly I had to seek medical attention. Their response - sorry that shouldn't have happened. The next week THE SAME THING! Old bent nails left all over, boards withl nails sticking out of them left lying around, but this time in the house! The downstairs was left a HAZARD ZONE on Wednesday and Thomas From renters warehouse REFUSED TO SEND ANYONE to make it safe until the next week!! This is AFTER we already had a serious injury from THE SAME HAZARDOUS CONDITIONS the previous week! They just refused to correct an unsafe situation that had already PROVEN to be dangerous when they did it the week before! We have been here and paying full rent for over 7 weeks and we have not had ONE SINGLE DAY of the place being as promised/contracted. Thomas From Renters Warehouse was arrogant and incredibly rude and refused to correct a dangerous situation even when we had already been injured by the same situation (the workmen leaving tools and dangerous debris lying around for multiple days) just the previous week. There is no way to get to my bedroom or the bathroom without walking through what even Thomas from Renters warehouse called a "construction zone" and which even he admitted was dangerous. I have photos of nails embedded in the carpet where they are difficult to see and likely to be stepped on (AGAIN!) as well as a whole pile of used bent nails that we cleaned up that were just left lying around and also a photo of one of the nails on the stairs where it presents an extreme danger as it cannot be seen as you are coming down the stairs but is pointed up in the most dangerous position possible. We cleaned up as much as we could see but it is these unseen nails that scare us the most. I don't want to spend ANOTHER weekend in urgent care. But even though we fully documented the problem, thomas from renters warehouse REFUSED to send anyone to fix it saying that we have to live with the danger from Wednesday until Monday because he refused to send anyone any sooner. Even the landlord agreed that renters warehouse service was deplorable in this case so it is not just the tenants that think Renters Warehouse of Salt Lake City is doing a terrible job. This is not just a rant - I have photos and emails to back up every point I made in this review. Feel free to contact me for additional details and proof
