From the Ground Up had done good work for several of our neighbors so on the day that he and his crew began working for us, we paid him $1300 up front because they were not going to be able to finish the work that day and we were not going to be home the next. Because of the work he had done for our neighbors we felt we could trust him. Someone returned a few days later to pick up the trailer of branches they had already trimmed and we never saw him again. We have left countless messages on his phone to no avail. Basically, his crew did about 1/3 of the work we paid them to do and we are out $1000.
