Bold Development

This contractor was the winning bidder for the City of Tucson Community Services Department Lead Abatement Program. The funding was supplied by HUD - I did not pay the bill. Window installation seems fine New door installation fine, but contractor did not consult with me about type of door requested until after he bought them. Too late! General painting very sloppy, poor quality paint used (it did not cure properly and it is permanently sticky), poor communication regarding color selection, some sections painted over rather than stripped, some antique hardware replaced with unattractive and cheap products Plumbing - existing work done satisfactorily, but they insisted I needed extensive additional work, when indeed there was only a simple faulty part in my faucet (which I pointed out over and over again) Kitchen sink is not faulty, but was not installed in the manner I requested Tile on counter installed unattractively (lines and angles could have been more well thought out) Floors were sealed only partially - very sloppy Blame always placed elsewhere - it was the cabinet makers, the tile supplier goofed, etc. etc. The city of Tucson has decided to no longer use this contractor. The price is approximate and does not include the money paid to cabinetry sub-contractors. I will review them separately.
