Was supposed to have lifetime guarantee on the blinds but after 20 years was told the warranty was a limited liability 7 year warranty. Tilters constantly broke, blinds warped / discolored / paint chipped off. Very expensive and bought for the "lifetime" warranty which turned out to be a limited 7 year warranty. Took them to Blindman for repairs and was not treated well by their staff. We are building a new home and will not buy from the Blindman again.

Not impressed. Sales person that showed up was disorganized, missing most of the demo pieces and seemed in a hurry to move on to the next appointment. Didn't really feel that she was really interested in making a sale. She also made a few errors in her measurements. Installers body language and comments seemed to hint that they were not surprised by this sale's persons mistakes. Shutters were installed but we are still waiting on blinds in our bedroom to be delivered since the previous blinds ordered did not fit the window dimensions. Down stairs blinds look lousy. Hoping to speak with installer to get this look fixed...it appears that pieces are missing on the edges for the top trim. Looks like metals bracket holding the blinds away from the window....complete disappointment. I am sure Home Depot or Lowes has better looking products. Shutters look ok...not sure they were worth the money despite the upgrades requested. No follow up call from their sales team or members of their company to check up on what we thought of their products thus far. We have 8 larges windows left to add additional shutters. My wife and I will be checking with other service providers to get quotes and assurances. I am curious to see what they say about this companies product. They claim to have been in business since 1990...

After having our blinds repaired repeatedly over the years, due to poor quality, we again took the blinds in today. I was told by employees, "the Lifetime Warranty is the lifetime of the blinds which is 7 years". When we first purchased the blinds 20 years ago The Blindman would repair the blinds free. Now, they charge a $30 "shop setup fee" and $7 for each tilter, $51 total. If more repairs were needed they would have charged me for each item. These blinds are poor quality. The paint has peeled, they have warped, the color is inconsistent between slats, the tilter's constantly break, etc.. I am completely disgusted with their deceptive advertising and will never buy from them again. We spent hundreds of dollars for each blind so that we would never have to repair or replace these blinds and they have been a constant problem. Now, apparently we will have to spend a ton to have them repaired. We are done with "The Blindman" because they are now robbing us blind.

Purchased woods blinds. They had the best bid out of three companies. They were ready for install in exactly two weeks and the install was very quick and professional. They make the blinds locally in Utah. They are beautiful. I will buy blinds from them every time now.
