Poorly! I'm not sure what kind of challenges Kitchen Solvers was facing but we felt stressed by the lack of communication and felt that Soren did not care or was oblivious to how the bumpy project was affecting us. There was never an apology or even acknowledgment. Work did not start near the time stated. Once started it took 5 weeks. Soren told me on several different occasions that it would take 7 days. Five weeks is a long time without a kitchen!!! And no, we couldn't use our kitchen because of the dust. We couldn't use our garage because this is where we were storing everything from the cabinets. The cabinet doors were not the doors I ordered. I did not say anything about the doors because when I saw them we were already 2-3 weeks without a kitchen and we just wanted our kitchen back. The kitchen looked good upon completion but I wanted to wait to post a review to see how the work held up. I wish I had my old doors and drawers back. If I had known, I would have had them professionally painted. I believe the issue is that the doors may be a tad too big. Some of the doors rub and don't close properly. Some of the drawers don't close smoothly either. There are adjustments that can be made to the hinge hardware. I will probably call a handyman to do this. Also when he picked up the final check, Soren said they would come back and install a heat vent in the cabinet box they installed the next week. I did not hear from him again. That's OK. It's not worth the headache!

We found Kitchen Solvers at the Layton Home Show in roughly March 2015.  After months of internet research we received a bid from Soren and Toby which was far less than a cabinet replacement job, about 60 % less.  I had looked at painting the cabinets and made some calls but didn't feel good about the contacts.  Finally decided to just have Soren and Toby do the job.
Initially, they promised a 3-5 day turnaround.  Well, it was quite a bit longer than that plus we had a vacation in the middle of the job.  It took about 7 days to get it done.   I think we were one of their first jobs and they had not done a full cabinet reface.  That means the doors pretty much butt up to one another without the 1.5 to 2 inch gap you see in my Before pictures.  They needed to buy specialized tools to install the drawer pulls we provided.  There was a problem with the wrong size door being ordered for one cabinet.  Same thing with the hinges.
But their quality of work and sincere care about doing the job right far offset these minor issues.  The kitchen did not have enough storage space so I bought and installed two single cabinets which are in the After Frig Cabinets picture.  We have quarter round molding at the bases, crown at the top.  All the doors (not drawers) have soft close hinges.  No more slamming.
In the end I'm happy I went with them, happy with the outcome.  I should've had them replace the drawer slides to self closing.  I fully recommend Toby and Soren of Kitchen Solvers Salt Lake City.  They are good people.
PS.  I guess I can't add pictures.  Sorry.

Awesome!  Russ is a great contractor.  He is reliable, easy to work with, gave us plenty of options to choose from and worked within our budget.  They updated our kitchen with new cabinets and even built a custom corner cabinet for us.  I will hire him again when we remodel our upstairs.

Overall, I was very pleased with Russ. I was attracted to him because he was efficient, prompt, and didn't waste time. He took the time to answer all my questions and satisfy the problems that came up. He met with me to choose the Quartz color and allowed me to take home samples. The price on the Quartz was much more competitive over Home Depot and other companies. He saved me hundreds of dollars on my sink and faucet by giving me the name of a supplier that he uses. I am extremely happy with the choices I made with his help on those two items. He also directed me on where to get a good deal on a microwave. When my existing counter top was removed, I asked him to save the tile directly above. He was able to get the counter top out without disturbing any of the tiles. When I wasn't happy with the caulking job, he agreed to rip it out and do it over. He replaced the exterior doors without my having to buy door jams, which also saved me hundreds more in cost and labor. Whenever I wanted something done differently, he sent his contractor back to do it again without complaint. Russ is focused and efficient and does a great job. I would definitely use him again.

They are a great company. They listened to us and followed though with everything they did. They were very professional. The contractor said the cabinets would be here at a certain time, and they were. I actually have them coming back to do more work.
