This is our 2nd time experiencing CITYWIDE. The first time we used them was in october of 2012 for a refi. We didn't close on that refi, which was suppose to be pretty cut and dry, until January 31 2013. That process was WAY to long and our loan officer had every excuse in the book.
This time around, we are selling our home. WE went with a different lender and our loan was done in 3 weeks. Our buyers of our old home however went with the same exact loan officer, Bruce Warburton with CITYWIDE, as we used back to refi AND WE STILL HAVEN'T CLOSED ON OUR OLD HOME!!! Our original close date was July 15th ( that date was also set by our buyers ) and we have had to sign 4 extensions now.
Please take this as a warning NOT to use Bruce Warburton at CITYWIDE. I have written emails to his manager, with no response and also to the CEO of the company, who responded but didn't tell me much as I was not the borrower this time around.

It did take a little longer than expected but I suppose that refinancing always does but this seemed to be a little bit excessive... Would I use them again?? I am not sure yet. This has been the first time we have refinanced and I don't really want to do it again because it has been such a headache.
