QWEST

We called Qwest because our phone went out for some unknown reason. The next day a repair guy shows up and spends maybe 10 minutes in our back yard installing a new box. To do this he decided to drill into the brick on our house without even telling us what he was doing. He then lets us know that this didn’t fix the problem and so the problem must be in our house. He hands us a bill for $85. I called Qwest to complain that about this and they said it was an “isolation charge”, they “isolated” the problem to be in our house. They explained that had he been able to fix the problem, we would not have been charged, but since he didn’t fix the problem we were charged. Huh?!? They would not take off the charge. I called again, they would not take of the charge. I called again and was told that a manager would call me back. Of course I never received a call back. We have now dumped Qwest and switched our home phone service to T-Mobile @ home service where we are paying only $10 a month for every feature under the sun. (You must have T-Mobile cell service to get it). Good riddance Qwest. Never will I do business with Qwest again. There are way better deals out there now with all the VoIP providers.

It was very frustrating trying to contact them, as was the overall work from them.
