Nature Floors

Nature Floors arrived on time and completed the engineered flooring installation.  The landing area of the steps looked good initially, but over the course of several months a large discoloration developed from the refinishing.  Our windows are UV protected so that is not the problem.  You can see the dark discolorations from brush strokes.  Nature Floors will now not return our calls to even come look at the issue.  We are now investigating other vendors to re-strip the floor and repair the problem.  Estimates run from $400-700.  Small claims court is swiftly becoming our best option to resolve the issue.  The engineered floor appears fine, but the underlayment makes the floor uneven.  They were also planning to leave the doorways as raw flooring with no transition strip which would have eventually ruined the newly installed floor.  The flooring was cut on our back patio and all sawdust and remnants were left on the back patio when they left.  Not a big deal, but indicative of Nature Floors lack of attention to detail as well.  Based on their performance I would not hire Nature Floors to work in my home again.
