Horizon HVAC heating and cooling

Brent and his family were on vacation in Park City. We had a lot of house guests in town for my daughters wedding on Oct.7. The heater goes out of course. Brent came down from PC and got it fixed! Brent is discussed by the 'rip off' HVAC people in Utah. Good guy.

Yesterday I scheduled an appointment through Landmark Home Warranty to have my furnace repaired. The blower wasn't working and my home was getting HOT because there was no air conditioning. The service rep from Horizon HVAC arrived within the appointment window this morning and got right to work. The furnace's blower motor was broken and needed to be replaced. Thankfully the rep had the part on his truck and was able to make the repair that same day. During the visit he also checked my AC unit and said it was in great, working condition. Horizon HVAC provided me with professional and expert service. I'm very satisfied and would definitely recommend them.

Technician was on time and very professional. Overall excellent service.

They are very dependable, show up when stated, pleasant and clean up when their work is finished.  I've used them several times and would call them first if I needed anything fixed on my A/C and Furnace. Good company!

It went really well, they were really good. I really like the guy that came out.

I called a number of Heating and Cooling Companies(everyone was busy due to the 100 degree heatwave).  This was a Friday afternoon and no one could come out until the following week.  Finally I reached Brent Nielson, owner, of Horizon.  I thought it was my lucky day!  He came over within 15 minutes. He was very professional and diagnosed my a/c issue right away. The capacitor went on the unit.  It took him 2 minutes to replace the capacitor (he pulled 3 wires off the old one and reattached them to the new one, then screw it back in place).  The a/c was up and running within 15-20 minutes.  My joy turned to shock at seeing the invoice!  The invoice was not itemized.  It simply read:  Description of Work Performed: Replaced Capacitor; Then: (1) Service/Diagnostic Analysis- $59.00 and (1) Level 2 Service- $187.00 (with tax a total of $258.81).  My husband later found out that the cost of a capacitor is $35.  So you tell me...fair or not?  I will say that I am glad to have the a/c working.  I believe repairmen have you over-a-barrel (and they know it).  So, they can charge just about anything...and YOU will pay!

When my A/C unit went out, it had only been 5 years since we bought it so I called them (Action) and they said it would take a whole new unit and would cost us another $2400! I was not happy with them so I called Horizon A/C to get a free estimate. The company owner came out that same night and gave me a few options to choose from. He was extremely nice, polite and helpful. In fact he even called to see if my warranty was still in place. It should have been but the former company had never submitted the paperwork to the A/C manufacturer! So then he was worried at ther shoddy workmanship and offered to look at my water heater and furnace to make sure they were ok. They were alright thankfuly!
We decided that we would replace the A/C compressor so they same out and did so, promptly, cleanly and effectively. Everything was in writing and they were available when I called them with questions. They spent the time needed to make sure everything was done well and that we were happy with their work.
We've since had them out to do a furnace tune up and are very happy with their work. We will use only their company services from now on. They are extremely trustworthy, polite and knowledgeable!

They did a very good job and I was very happy with what they did.  I had a minor issue with it about a month ago and they promptly came out and had a look at it, and took care of it.  So they were very good and I give them a top rating.  They charged me roughly $2900 for their services.  I have nothing but good things to say about them.  They were very thorough and very professional.  They were very timely and they did a good job.

The experience was very good. The technician came when he was supposed to and gave me an accurate estimate. He did the work within the time frame that he planned on and gave me all the information that I needed to submit to the gas company to get a rebate. I will use them again in the future.
