It took the boys one visit to decide they love Debbie!  One of our cats is really shy and flees and hides, but he allowed Debbie to pat him on the first visit and after that he came out at the sound of her voice.  Both cats missed us, of course, but they were not skittish or weird after we got home and it was clear that they have expanded their family to include this wonderful new addition!  Debbie is so calm and reassuring and our kitties responded to that---as did we!  It's never easy to leave beloved animals, but knowing they were being well cared for made it possible for us to take a dream vacation.  It's not overstating this to say that Debbie has changed our lives---my daughter and I now feel we have the freedom to travel a bit more and not agonize over our cats needing extensive therapy when we come home.
Please, PLEASE make Debbie your first call when you need this extraordinary care for your beloved animals!  (Although we are owned by two cats, I know Debbie loves dogs just as much!)

We loved working with Debbie. She was referred to me by my sister who had used her in the past. She met with us prior to leaving out of town to discuss the needs of our dog as well as get a key for access to our home. She is a complete professional. I trust her with my home and even more importantly, my dog. She left a daily note discussing what she had done and the feedback was impressive.

Overall I think the experience was excellent! When I called the company and left a message asking for references, I was promptly contacted with the phone numbers for 2 long time clients who both had nothing but glowing reviews of the service.
I decided that this was the right company to keep tabs on our cat, house, and plants while we were out of town for the holidays. We arranged a meeting time with the sitter and she arrived a few minutes early. We gave her all the details about visits and what needed to happen. Cat care, house checkup, and plant watering. She offered to set out the garbage cans and collect the mail as well. The garbage was all good, but the mail collection was a nice touch. We agreed on a schedule then decided to amend the schedule, contacting them to update was easy and the new dates were agreed upon.
During our time away, we received text messages updating us on the health of the cat, also a very nice touch. When we got home, there was a nice log on the table of all the visits with comments about the cat's status and how the house looked. Overall the peace of mind was well worth the price ($15 per visit) and if we ever need pet care again I wouldn't hesitate to use Home Sweet Home.
