The whole thing went well.  Ron Fuller showed up at the expected time, listened to what we were trying to accomplish, assessed the situation and made recommendations based on that.  There was about a week between that and doing the work because he had to order parts, so he disabled one of the locks at my request to prevent problems we'd been having.  This was sufficient to address our needs while we waited for the planned fix.  When the time came to install the new equipment, he encountered a few issues with the pre-existing equipment and handled it well.  When the work was completed, he made sure all was as expected, answered questions, and handed keys to me in an organized fashion.  Having the different keys stamped by number is quite helpful for our purposes.  The final cost was equal to the estimate he had given.  All told, I am quite pleased with the results.

On time, id'd the problem quickly, and fixed it quickly.

Ron Fuller explained my options on the phone and was at my house within an hour of my call. He worked quickly and efficiently and his rates were very reasonable.

This afternoon the lock on the kitchen became stuck, and we could not get the door open. We removed the door knob, but the cylinder was stuck into the door sill mechanism. I looked on Angie's List and found Fuller Lock Service. I called, and Cody came out within the hour. He took the whole door off and slid the cylinder out that way. Then he replaced the broken mechanism with a new one. He told me to call if we had any more trouble with that lock; their work is guaranteed for 30 days. I am very happy.

Very professional, very prompt, very knowledgeable. Went out of their way to accommodate my difficult schedule. Would use them again.

I know the following review is very long but I received fantastic service from Fuller Lock Service and very poor service from another locksmith. I was extremely happy with the service I received from Fuller Lock Service in Layton Utah. The drama began when we lost a very expensive 2008 Nissan Armada remote smart key w/uncut emergency transmitter safety key. These keys are very expensive thru the dealership. However, I found the key online for $75. The first locksmith I called, theowner quoted me $45 service fee to program and cut the key. I called the guy twice just to make sure of the cost before I went in. When I went in ... the owner immediately quoted me a higher price. He said I never told him I had the transmitter as well and it would be an additional $25 on top of the original $45. I spent almost 22 years in the Air Force in Supply and Logistics where I learned to be very specific. I had described the remote and key in complete detail over the phone. I am sure he was just trying to suck more money out of me. He blamed me for the miscommunication which just isn't good business.
Now to Fuller Lock Service. I spoke with the owner, Ron on the phone and explained my dilemma. He told me he wasn't sure if he could program the key. He might not have the correct diagnostic equipment. He said if he had the correct equipment it would cost a $20 service fee and a small fee to cut the key. Because of his uncertainty, I called Nissan. The dealership quoted me $55. I was really surprised. After trying to make sure of the price, I learned the dealer also would charge an additional $27 to cut the key. That seem a little expensive but at least I knew I had options. So I paid Fuller Lock Service a visit. The owner's son Cody tried his best to help me. It turned out that he didn't have the correct equipment. He cut the emergency/safety key for FREE and called two of his competitors' to see if they could program my smart key. They didn't have the correct equipment either. So I ended up taking the remote key to Ken Garff Nissan in Ogden. They did indeed program the remotes for $55 and Fuller Lock Service saved me $27 by cutting the key for free. The folks who own Fuller Lock Service are honest and I appreciate them very much. They will be my and quot;go toand quot; locksmiths from now on.
