He originally installed the septic tank in the middle of a planned driveway, then charged us to dig it up and move it to another location. The type of leach field that he was going to use would never have worked in this location. He charged more than full retail for the infiltrators for the leach field which were never used; when we tried to return these for credit to the supplier, we were told that any return would be credited back to cover Troy's past due bills. He charged us $115 for an outdoor tap that was not installed The kitchen sink drain was located eight inches off plan, (discovered by my cabinet maker) which resulted in on-the spot changes to the cabinets. He charged us for materials that were not used on this job. He also billed at full rate for his assistant ($60/hr instead of $25)
After he was paid for the partial work, he would not return phone calls. We sent him a letter detailing our issues and concerns, and requesting a refund for incomplete or improper charges, also with no response. This was a very bad experience, and I would never recommend using this company.
We ended up hiring another plumber (see my review of Sandstone Plumbing) and also a septic system installer.

It was great! He gave us an estimate, came and did the work as promised, and then charged less than he had estimated. What more could one ask????
