Auto Body Work
The work being done was a two day job according to my insurance company.
We brought it in Monday morning at 8:00 AM sharp.
They did nothing with it for two days as they worked on other cars that also came in Monday.
On the third day the fender was removed.
On the fourth day the new fender was put back on and on the fifth day, Friday, they said their painter wasn't coming in. Since they are closed Saturday and Sunday we had to pick it Monday.
I called my insurance company and other body shops and no one said this job should take more than two days to complete. What they do is get everyone needing body work to bring their cars in on Monday morning. They then decide who's car they are going to work on first. If you don't know somebody there it's a good chance you are pushed to the back of the week.
Combine this with their car rental business and one begins to wonder if they have any imputes get yours done in time if you are being charged daily for one of their rentals.
