I was able to schedule a vet appointment a week in advance. The vet tech who greeted us was very nice, and immediately reached out to pet the dog. We discussed the purpose of the visit. The wait time was not bad. The vet who met us examined the cat and the dog, she was very kind and talked soothingly to them while examining them. She administered vaccinations quickly, and neither animal seemed to experience much discomfort. She addressed our concerns, and said that they will send out a reminder when the next vaccinations are due. We live in Logan, but it seems worth it to go out of our way to Hyrum to visit a vet our pets like.

The staff at Blacksmith Fork is always so nice and professional. They really seem to care about our dogs. During their exam Dr. Watkins also clipped the nails of our older dog and did a little extra checking because of some symptons she has been having. Dr. Watkins operated on our Husky when he developed peritonitis. We had only had him a short time and didn't really know a lot of his background. He had to stay there a few days and the staff treated him like one of there own. They let us come in while they prepped him for surgery and as soon as he was done with surgery. I don't know if this comforted us or our Husky more, but we were very happy to be able to do that. They send cards when one of our dogs passes and even once came to our house when our beloved Blue collapsed and could not be taken to the vet.

I dropped off my cat, Mr. Chow, the morning of May 28th to have his front claws removed and for him to be neutered. He got dropped off at around 8:15 A.M. in his cage. I was able to pick him up the following morning at around 8:45 A.M. When I went to pick him up the vet tech was very informative in letting me know how the surgeries had gone and how the cat had been feeling afterwards. She let me know everything I needed to do to take care of his paws and even gave me a paper with questions I may have and what exactly I needed to do to help him heal quickly and properly. They even gave me a special kitty litter for him to use for the first week after the surgery. My cat is very fiesty so I know they had their hands full with him before and after the surgery but they still handled him with care and concern. I have been going to this vet since I first got my cat with his shots and have been going to them every since and will continue to.

bandit, my 14 year old cat, was not feeling well. we needed to run some tests and find out what was wrong. the answers were surprising. we have taken our other cats and our dogs to these vets and we have been well pleased with the results.
