Desert Edge service techs are very knowledgeable and great to work with. I felt very informed throughout the entire process and am very pleased with the work. I had asked them to hardwire new furnace with 3 wire to my old thermostat, and they forgot to include it in the bid, and did not do it, and when I asked them about it, he said they forgot, but then did not call back to discuss completing the job. Also never gave me manual for my furnace. It was a difficult job, and they worked hard to get it in one day, they did it for the price they quoted, and did a good job. So I was pleased with their work. Just not the follow through.

They came after business hours to assess my furnace and AC system the same day I called them. They gave me all of the options and estimated price to repair or replace. They emailed me a quote the following day. And 3 days later I had a brand new functioning system. I couldn't be happier. Thank you Desert Edge.

Following the expiration of the service it was discovered the installation was not done in accordance with the installation directions (e.g. a jumper wire was needed and required additional freon added). When I contacted the contractor, he stated the install guarantee was long over and he would take no responsibility for it not being installed properly and I should have made a request right away, knowing I had a problem. Not knowing what I should have expected, following a follow through inspection by the installer should have recognized a problem existed.
