SUNLINE LANDSCAPE

Our overall experience was very stressful. The project was suppose to take 6 to 8 weeks but instead took over 3 months. There were so many days that no one even showed up. Certain sub-contracters were very rude, messy and unreliable. We actually had to kick out the masons and ask that they not return. We were told that we would be able to pick out the landscape plants and lighting but that never happened. We asked many, many times to let us know the timeline to pick out certain things. Sunline never gave us a heads-up in advance so that we could pick out these items. They ruined a piece of our copper gutter, stained parts of the new limestone, did not seal an area that is now leaking into the garage (even though we warned them). We tried many times to point out things that would be a problem, yet they proceeded to do them anyway and then had to spend the time to come fix what they messed up. They had to rebuild a rock wall twice because it was not straight. The pavers were suppose to be set with a slope for drainage, but it definitely does not drain properly. The top of the fireplace is actually a tad crooked. We, the homeowners, actually had to manage a lot of this project due to the fact that a project manager was usually not here. The managing and scheduling of events/sub-contracters was very poor. Time management seems to be a real problem for this company. There are so many more things that went wrong with this project that I would need a small book to put it all in! The end result looks pretty good, although when I go out there, all I see are the mistakes. It has been very hard to enjoy the backyard because of the stress and fighting it took to get to the end of this project. Overall, it took WAY too much time and was really a very unpleasant experience. In good conscience, I could never recommend this company.
