Concrete Repair, Concrete Driveway Service
The work was sloppy, communication, was lacking, a mess was left in my yard, property was damaged, and Herb was belligerent and unresponsive when we approached him with our concerns.

Concrete Repair, Decorative Concrete Service
I got a bid for stamped/colored concrete job. Herb then proceded to turn the work over to a crew of Hispanics, who apparently did NOT know what they were doing. The job was poured as a cement "block" without the stamping or the color agreed on. Herb did admit he didn't give the work crew the right instructions. When the sidewalk was poured they created a large step instead of a gradual increase. When they came back they had to jack hammer out 2 sections of that concrete to fix it. He did then come back and put on a top coat that he stamped and colored, however the overall "look" leaves a lot to be desired. There are 3 imprints from the knee pads of workers forever etched into the patio. The total job ended up taking about 2 months. Now for the biggest problem... when his Hispanic crew poured the cement they broke a buried sprinkler line UNDER the middle of the patio that was poured, so now I find I have to dig up my back yard, and re-run the backyard sprinkler system. Currently when that zone is activated I have a STREAM of water coming up from the middle of the patio. I am afraid to think about if it may ALL COLLAPSE !!!

"We did everything we were asked to do, including additional work at no charge to compensate for an unfortunate error on our part. The work was done well. He was tough to please. I lost a lot of money on this job trying to make everything right and the homeowner happy. The work was done with good quality. The homeowner was still not happy. Nothing was ever said about a broken sprinkler line. There were no sprinkler lines that went under the concrete that we were aware of. Marking the sprinkler lines was not part of our contract. It is disappointing that the homeowner is still so unhappy after we went out of our way, at additional expense to make him happy."
