The work was excellent. They did 'A' quality work. The only problem I had with him was that he was not very good about returning calls. You couldn't get him to respond to your calls. He was not very responsive but the work itself was good.

They were right on time and were right on schedule. It looks good and didn't have any problem. They were the least expensive of the ones I checked on. They moved things from my closet to do the closets. They didn't make me move appliances.

First of all this company owner will never call you back unless you owe him money, he wants a check or you are a brand new client. It took him weeks to get us samples in and seen as he was referred to us by a good GC we didnt think there would be issues. 
He also told us he would replace our baseboards to match the new stain. This is where he failed miserably. He tore all of our baseboards and never even placed on order to get new ones for us as he promised. He never informed us of any delays until we had left him numerous voice mails and text messages. So basically our house has has no baseboards for 7 weeks after he finished our floors and he simply will not return calls as all these other reviewers say. 
 He was first of all late to start the project. It took him much longer to finish the job with his crew. Doug never even shows up with his crew and that is another problem, They come late and are taking smoke breaks all the time and are not people you want in your home. Doug ever even really shows up other than to collect payment. 
Doug is one of these sub contractors caught up in the past where we you can get jobs and basically offer bad service and move on to the next one. As more and more people see these negative reviews perhaps they can think twice about using him. 
If something goes wrong with our floors I am sure he will never respond and i will have to take him court to get his attention.

The floors look new. I am pleased with the end result. The communication concerning when workers will arrive could be better, but the work was of great quality and I would use Barton Hardwood Floors again, as well as recommend them to friends and family.

the floors look amazing, they did a great job. Their response to emails and phone calls was disappointing. Weeks would go by. After I finally got the service scheduled they were still almost a month out. I would recommend these guys only if you are not in a hurry.

Better service than expected.  Better results than expected.  Pricing was great.

They were wonderful. It was just a beautiful job. I didn't dislike anything. I loved them.  I liked their efficiency. They cordoned off everything when they sanded. They were very meticulous about their work.

Doug showed up on time for the estimate, and showed on time to do the work. The finished floors look great. They left the house clean.

Very responsive from the first contact via email all the way through the project.  Stated it would take three days from start to finish and that was exactly how long it took.  Very professional and they did a great job.

They did a good job, and I was very pleased with their work.  They did everything on time and worked very hard.  They went out of their way to do even more than I had asked.  I would use them again if I had to.
