I was a little nervous initially being this was my first time hiring an accountant for my taxes. In the past I've done it myself. But I decided to hire a CPA this year because I had many changes in my life that affect my tax situation (moving countries, changing jobs, buying a home). I worked with Sara (CPA) and Sidney (assistant) and they were both wonderful and very professional. When I arrived, Sara was running a few minutes late on her schedule, and Jon, the managing director, helped me get me started on my taxes. Their office has a great teamwork dynamic that's customer-centered. Everyone from the receptionist to Jon seemed happy to work there. My appointment was the last in the evening and their office seemed very busy as April 15th draws closer. However, they both provided an outstanding level of service that made me feel like a preferred customer, even though it was my first time there. Sara was able to find several tax benefits I was not aware of, getting me a more generous return than I anticipated. They are very honest and helpful to navigate the tax laws with integrity. They also made recommendations for improving my tax situation in the future. In the past I've paid about $40 to do my taxes online and gotten a smaller return. When I told them I found them on Angie's List, they gave me a nice discount. The $229 was definitely worth it for the much larger return. I will continue doing my taxes with them in the future. I couldn't recommend them enough.

The service at paramount was Excellent.  I work as a contractor and did not have W2 forms, so I was unsure of how to file my tax paperwork.  Paramount had expert CPA's and cutting edge document reading and electronic forms that made completing easy.
