They were very quick and were able to be finished in one day.  The look was very nice.

We underwent a complex major renovation of our kitchen in 2012 that included removing interior walls and existing flooring. Because the kitchen is visible from the living and dining rooms, I decided to redo all floors at the same time. My husband was concerned about the impact of doing so much work at once - and in fact had it not been for Lane and Chris, he would have been right about having virtually all of our living space unusable for a lengthy period of time. They mitigated the inconvenience with their outstanding professionalism.
Lane was incredibly responsive and knowledgeable about the specific flooring I was interested in. I wanted a non-standard stain on the floor, and he gave me professional reasons why I might rethink my decision, but offered to try to stain a sample to see what the result would be. At 7:00 am the next morning, I found the sample - in the exact color I wanted - leaning up against the back door.
Lane and Chris were the most professional, courteous and skilled craftsmen we have ever worked with. They were incredibly clean; I had heard horror stories about having new hardwood floors installed - we experienced exactly the opposite. The dust, because of their work ethic, was virtually non-existent. The staining and drying times were extremely non-disruptive. They were prompt beyond belief; if they said they would be here at 8:00  they were here at 7:55.
The floors are beautiful. Everyone who visits our home comments on them. Hiring Lane was one of the best decisions we have ever made; in fact he is returning next week to install the same flooring in our main floor office, and next year we plan on having him install hardwood throughout our entire upstairs.

The work done on my hardwood floors was excellent. The crew was just great. There was approximately 600 sq. ft. of flooring finished in my home. The dining room never had hardwood flooring, so it was added. Amazing how well they matched it to the original, fifty-three year old hardwood in the rest of the house. They took as much time as I wanted to select a stain. They actually sanded and stained several areas in the old floor for me to choose from. The entire job turned out beautifully and was very interesting to watch as the work progressed. Very careful crew and thoughtful about the work they did. They actually told me they liked doing this kind of work and that they enjoyed working on old floors, because they have a very interesting character. I couldn’t be more pleased.
