Kelly's Insulation

Penguin had a salesperson stop by the house--with their insulation truck ready to go--and talked my wife into an insulation evaluation. As you would suspect, we only had X amount of insulation and qualified for numerous energy savings rebates if we opted for the additional insulation. Penguin promised that the entire process would be very easy and stated that they would float the up-front costs and would also file all of the rebates on your behalf. Sounded easy and painless enough so my wife pulled the trigger. They performed the work and provided us with a work order.
As the Winter months approached, I was excited to see if we could feel the difference both physically and financially. I frankly didn't notice much of a difference but I was indifferent as it was no skin off our back financially speaking. 
A couple months later, we received the checks from Questar and Rocky Mountain Power, promptly (same day as receiving them) signed them over and sent them in the pre-addressed envelopes that Penguin provided us with. 
Fast forward to 3/23/2014--more than six months later--and we get a pre-collections notice in the mail stating that they've attempted to contact us multiple times and that we were going to be turned over to collections if we didn't submit payment within 7 days. What the? Our phone number is clearly listed on the work order and not once did we receive a phone call. In addition, we never received any notices via mail. Ironically, they were able to contact us to send us a collection notice. 
Based on this experience, along with the results of this service, I would stay far away from this company.

The work turned out fine. They suggested leaving a tip and I did and then they left a mess behind. They left without letting me know that they were going. The installation was fine but the customer service was lacking with the installers.
