We provide the best chimney sweep and chimney cleaning on the market. Our chimney cleaning system is designed to give your chimney flue the best cleaning possible. We also offer dryer vent cleaning as well.

"All seemed well- Nate showed up when he said he would. Seemed knowledgeable and was professional. He told us what he thought would help make our stove more efficient. Told us to expect to see a bid in the next 2 days or so. Then charged us $75. First red flag. $75 for a bid?? The reason we called him was to look at our blower. He DID NOT EVEN TOUCH IT (second red flag) but told us it needed replaced and was a manufacturer defect. We paid him and then never heard from him again. He never sent a bid and won’t answer or return any calls or texts. Don’t waste your time, or money!"

The natural breakdown of uranium in soil, rock, and water can cause radon to appear in a home. Homeowners insurance may cover shower pan leaks, but it depends on the type of coverage you’re looking for. Typically, home insurance policies cover sudden or accidental water damage, for example, if it comes from a busted pipe or malfunctioning appliance. Damage to a shower pan is usually gradual. A repair or replacement of your shower pan usually won’t be covered by your policy. If your shower pan leak causes water damage, chances are your standard policy—if it includes water damage—will cover the repair.

It’s a good idea to be present for a home inspection so the inspector has access to anything they need for the inspection and so you can ask the home inspector questions if necessary. You don’t need to shadow the inspector while they’re conducting the inspection—in fact, it’s better if you don’t—but don’t go too far in case they need access to something or have any questions.

To prepare for a pre-drywall inspection, make sure to schedule the inspection before your drywall (and preferably insulation) is installed, but after all ductwork, plumbing, electrical wiring, and framing are in. You should also print a copy of your floor plan for your inspector, which they’ll use to make sure the build matches up. Lastly, try to clear the home of major obstacles (tools, large stacks of material, etc.) to allow the inspector access to the places they need to check.

A 4-point home inspection is similar to a standard home inspection, but it’s less extensive and is required for home insurance in select states. In a 4-point inspection, inspectors only review four main components—electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and roofing systems.
