Tali was supposed to install an rv pad addition to my current driveway and do a roadbase pad in the back where the rv sits. They did not put enough concret on the pad, or prep it correctly. A week after install the pad was already cracking and settling. Where they cut the curb to do the addition looks horrible! It is jagged and chunks taken off. They did not take out or level the backyard for the road base rv pad so instead of a 6ft fence I have a 5ft fence that had so much weight on it that it bowed and almost broke. They brought in almost boulder sized rock for the rv pad that had nails, metal rods and other debris in it. He then refused to fix the issues pointed out to him upon him asking for a final check saying â it was doneâ . It looks terrible, we got a quote to fix everything and it is almost what we paid tali already to do the initial work. I WOULD STAY AWAY FROM THIS GUY!

Pacific was one of three companies that gave us a quote for our basketball court project. Taliâ s quote wasnâ t the cheapest, but it was clear he knew what he was doing. He had a great crew who were efficient, but gave high quality work. They started and finished the project within the agreed upon timeframe and Tali was very good about answering texts and phone calls. I highly recommend working with Tali.

Tali Maka and his team at Pacific Seas committed to do a concrete driveway rv pad that was also to be anchored to the existing driveway along with a couple inches of roadbase to prevent uneven settling and cracking. They also committed to install a drain to prevent water from accumunatio behind the new driveway. Along with this they were to get a permit to cut down the curb in front of the driveway for access and seal the concrete. First, they didnt remove enough dirt for the roadbase or prep for installing the drain. The correct depth for the concrete has also come into question. They did get the permit and cut the curb down, but its a crooked sloppy mess and chunks are breaking off. They did not install the anchors and started concrete pours directly on the soil. When called on this, they merely sprinkled road base over part of the existing dirt, not more that 1/8 in thick. Then they poured everything over top. While doing the driveway, they knew storms were possible that day, and as clouds approached, some of them literally began singing rain rain go away, come again another day. They finished laying the concrete and then started cleaning the concrete off their tools, and transport tub onto our front lawn. I got after them because it will kill the lawn, when they at least then went to the curb. Soon after this, they loaded up and left, not covering the concrete. Shortly thereafter as the rain started coming down, my good neighboor who is a roofer grabbed his roofimg tarps to combine woth my tarps to try to get things covered. We called and complained and he did send one of his workers back to try to go over the surface with his trowel because of the water, but as it continued to rain, this had limited usefulness. They were supposed to follow up and seal the concrete but never did. Now the concrete surface flakes off in various area due to getting rained on as the concrete was trying to set, and we already have cracks. As we tried to reach out for sealing it and to get receipts for our payments, he first repeatedly lied saying he was going to send them or already had sent them, then he just stopped responding to our calls. Good thing we have carbon copy checks or we'd have nothing to show for taxes, etc. Our new driveway is not lasting as long as the original driveway that came with house that is 30 years old. I would not use them again or recommend them. There in pouring concrete to get a quick buck and then leave.

Pacific Sea Concrete LLC Tali Maka came out and gave me a very competitive bid on my job. They said they could start the next day. And complete within two days. No deposit required to begin work I was surprised, by this, work was to begin Friday afternoon and complete Saturday. â ¢ Two each 10â x15â â ¢ One each 4â x 10â Work was completed in just one day, Friday late I was very surprised and grateful, looks wonderful. Sad to have to write this review. Company came out and gave me a very competitive bid on my job. They said they could start the next day. I gave a deposit and they came to start. They were quick and arrived with a very pleasant crew. One guy did smoke and left cigarette Butts all over the ground. Not a huge deal. Just annoying. They were supposed to remove all broken up concrete from the original poor. They only removed 2/3rds of it. Left me with 2 slabs that don?t match the remainder of the concrete and now refuse to complete the job. They said it wasn?t in the original bid. I had already paid them for the full Job. Once they were paid they quit showing up. Left a mess of all the sod they pulled out in the street. I received a warning from the city that we had 5 days to remove it. They didn?t care. Finally removed the debris in the street 8 days later. Do not hire these guys and definitely don?t pay them Until you are satisfied with the job they did. I payed them extra to remove another area of sod and they only removed part of it. I had to hire labor and rent a sod cutter to remove the remainder of the job I paid them to do. I was really hoping they would Be amazing and had referred them to several neighbors and family members. I had to call all of them and let them know not to hire them. I?m filing a lawsuit tomorrow because it will cost me thousands of dollars to complete the hat I?ve already paid them to do. If this app let me post photos of the terrible work I would Gladly share them.

Pacific Sea Concrete The foundation that you poured is far below the 8 inches above grade that is specified on the prints that you received. I have spoken with the city inspectors and the structural engineers and it will be very expensive to correct your errors. This project that you told me would take a couple of weeks has taken six months and it is not close to being completed. This has also been very expensive for me. I can no longer afford to work with you. Remove all of your equipment and debris in one week, May 7.

Eugene was on time, the job was completed exactly when he said it would, and he communicated very well! It looked amazing after he was done and I would highly recommend and would hire again!

They are quick to try and come out to get started, but finishing is terrible. Less than 6 months later and the concrete is cracking and dissolving. Their team ran over our mailbox, then try to hide it. They promised to come back and fix the mailbox and never did. DO NOT USE THEM!!!!

DO NOT HIRE Tali Maka. I hired Tali over 2 years ago to build a retaining wall and extend my driveway toward the rear of my property so that I could get my camp trailer all the way back. He started out just fine. They did the initial demo work and prepped for the wall foundation. He then asked for $5k for materials. I gave him a check, which he cashed the next day. They poured the wall foundation, then he asked for another $6k for materials for the wall. I gave him another check, which he cashed the next day. They did come build the wall. Although I question the method...Hopefully it's solid and I won't have a problem, but I'm concerned. At this point, Thanksgiving was coming up. I'm in the St. George area, and Tali said he lives in the SLC area. He said he picks up jobs down here in the winter months to keep his crew working. So, he was headed back up north for Thanksgiving. I haven't seen him since. This was November 2020. Tali rarely answers a text. He never answers a call. When he does text me back, it's always another excuse and he pushes me out a month or two. I know I'll never see him again, and I'm just plain out the money. I'm writing this in hopes of preventing others from losing money to Tali. He's dishonest, and will rip you off. And, from what I experienced, his workmanship is terrible even if you can get him to show up.

My concrete work was scheduled and completed ahead of original plans. Great crew. Within 6 hours of completion, I had 1 section that cracked all the way across. After 2 months of trying to get them to come and review, I have given up and looking into other contractors to fix.

Quick start, slower completion but great communication. Would recommend and use again.

I WILL NOT USE HIM AGAIN. Long post but I detail everything and have pics and texts to back it up. I hired Tali to do a driveway over a year ago...and it went well...although there were a few finishing issues, but nothing major. I just hired him for 2 projects at the same time in the past 1.5 months and these have not gone well. First he extended a patio that was part of his original work. Numerous communications about a gas line that needed to be boxed in (for future gas fire pit) they poured right over it. Luckily we caught it and told the workers who physically formed a box around it with their hands....uneven, lumpy and not square or great. They also didn't even extend any of the control joints (formed, not cut) from the original work to the new one....in fact they didn't put ANY control joints in it. Tali came and cut some in but when you now look out the backdoor you see the original formed control lines and then a small line cut...very prominently displayed. His guys were messy with their cleanup and left lots of bottles, cans and chunks of concrete all over the yard and even broke our hose. They also left concrete cleanup on the front lawn that killed some of our grass. The other project was some patios at a rental...along with walkways to the garages. They started the demo on a day they didn't even notify me of. They took over a week, at maybe a few hours a day to get it moderately prepped. They took out a dividing fence and then formed up. They hadn't removed the dirt or the fence (as was part of the agreement) I told him I needed to arrange a new fence to have fence posts set when they had it final formed. I never received notice as to when and after some text exchanges he finally had his guys remove the big pile of dirt left on the back lawn....but left the fence and another pile of dirt. After fence posts went in 4th of July weekend, it was found that form work wasn't square to the house and they had not followed the visual description at quote of an angled walkway to the garages (poured a small 36"ish walkway at a 90*) they also had formed the walkways (supposed to be 3' on either side of the fence) not accurate or centered so one side ended up only being 29. A text was sent to them on the Sat before the 4th about the froms needing to be changed and that the excavation wasn't low enough since there were many areas that had mounds of dirt that were almost as high as the forms. They also had not laid down road base yet. They never responded and when I went to do a few things at the rental on the 5th (Tues) I found they had poured all the concrete. No communication and no correction to the form work. They also didn't pour back where all the fence debris was piled up, which left the back of the fence and a gate at the back not even in the concrete work. Luckily he was still there and we discussed these issues. He said he would come back Thursday (7th). He came back today (Sat the 9th) with no communication as to what was going on and poured a small section to widen the walkway, triangles so the walkway wasn't a small 90* awkward turn and pour around the back fence/gate posts. They also finally cleaned up the original fence debris....however they formed the back extension to get the back gate posts right against it...meaning it would surely crack and break right there. He did fix it....but then called me and started out with a raised voice that I was basically conning him into more work and this wasn't part of the initial quote. I was beyond upset. I put his quality of work at 3 because to be honest I don't know if he even did the grading that needed to be done on the patios. I don't think he uses enough road base (looks like maybe 1 I believe it should be 2) He doesn't communicate well with clients nor does he relay infor...

Our first experience was great. We used him for a second project and they got lazy and did not finish. Unfortunately we paid him in full with his promise to come back and finish. Never did. Lots of promises and excuses and never fulfilled them. We will now have to pay someone else to come out so we do not get our shop flooded. Also he does business without a contract, just a handshake. He is not cheap either. This has been going on for at least 5 weeks or more. I have pictures if anyone is interested.

Had to bug them about cleaning up the work site.

Project was completed ahead of schedule and very well done. The crew was great to work with.

Tali and his crew did a great job on my shed pad. I will be using him in the future for all of my concrete needs.

We needed some extra parking on the side of our house, but we live on a hill and this project seemed impossible. But Tali showed up and walked me through how he would lay out the extra parking pad. It all made sense, and I could tell he knew what he was talking about. After some minor revisions to the design, Tali and his crew got to work. They built a retaining wall, moved around a lot of large stones we had in that space, backfilled with concrete, poured some steps from the parking space to our backyard, and even installed a cap flush with the concrete for a drain pipe that was there previously. Overall, this was a fantastic experience and we're definitely keeping this company's information for future jobs. The price was very reasonable, and the project was completed in a timely manner. I would highly recommend Pacific Seas Concrete.

Tali was a good and responsible guy that I talked to.. the way he talked about how to get my driveway concrete done was more convincing than other.. that was why I chose him over others..and He and his team did a great job and very responsible... they did get my concrete sideways done in 2days... im glad that I hired him...very happy... I will recommend Pacific Sea's Concrete to everyone... thank u Tali Maka

Tali did an excellent job! He was very fast; most people told me I would have to wait until summer was over, but he got right in and completed the work within a week of our first meeting. Pacific Sea is definitely a great group to work with for all your concrete needs.
