My chairlift was badly damaged by a power surge. Once the insurance company approved the extensive repairs, Your Elevator Service did order parts and send a very reliable repairman, Jared, out to tackle this big job. They service a 4 or 5 state area, so scheduling is a bit complicated. Thanks to the schedulers and Jared. I am very happy with the repair. Happy the normally scheduled maintenance found the damage to get the ball rolling! I do suggest that a very high-powered surge protector is needed in any area prone to lightning or power surges. The chair itself, a curved unit by Stannah in the Mountains, has paid for itself in being able to keep my loved one at home instead of a nursing home.

Do not buy from this company!! The salesperson will be nice and make a lot of promises about having 24 hour support. Do not believe it. When you call to schedule the annual $200 maintenance they will be friendly. But if your chair suddenly stops working trapping your relative they will be rude (their calls are obviously not monitored) and you?ll be very lucky if you get someone to come out at the end of the day. And if they try to get you off the phone by telling you they?ll get it scheduled and call you right back don?t be fooled, we were told that, called again and there was no record that we?d previously called.

I am so excited to finally be able to get up and down my stairs by riding my new Stannah Stairlift! It has safely reopened my second level of my beautiful home! Corey did a fantastic job in helping me to choose the best options for a safe ride up my 16 stairs! David worked so hard to install my stairlift to perfection! I am so grateful for Mountain West!????? David worked so hard to install it ! Both men are so awesome!
