About us
Lee's House Doctor is a licensed and insured handyman service. I have 29 years experience in residential repair, remodel and new construction, both residential and commercial. We specialize in smaller jobs. We have two employees, a master carpenter and carpenter. We have excellent sub-contractors we use for larger tile, drywall and electrical jobs. We are willing to take on anything from hanging a mirror to remodeling a bathroom. Concrete sidewalks and driveways or a Trex deck and aluminum awnings. And many other home improvements. Our hourly rate is $65. per man hour, with a two hour minimum. We give free estimates or bids.

Lee was prompt and professional. Coordinated the job with my tenant and did a good job for a good price. Both security doors have a great weather seal now and look good. He charged me $55/hr for a little over 2 hours work and cost of materials.

Lee promptly responded to evaluate the project and provide his expertise on how to proceed. He made multiple scheduled visits to professionally accomplish all of the required work. He always kept me up to date by phone and text. He was very attentive to our timeline while focusing on the quality of work. Awesome!!! Lee's our new go-to guy!!! Lee and Dave are great to work with, have great attitudes and are very professional and courteous. Lee has a broad base of expertise and plans what he is going to do before starting the work, but can easily accommodate homeowner changes and wishes as the work progresses. As you can imagine, removal of a large 60-year old fireplace created a lot of dust and debris, but they tried at every step of the way to minimize the dust and impact of the work, and left a clean worksite.

Lee answered my initial call and arranged to come out to help me the same day. He showed up on time, had all of the materials he needed for the job with him, and worked quickly and efficiently. He did an excellent job on the repair and he was very personable.

Lee was great. Came on a weekend because he said the job should be quick. He was great and charged a fair price. I would definitely use him again. He actually ended up saving me money as he just replaced the fan motor in the bathroom. I thought I would need a whole new unit.

Lee and his helper showed up with all of the necessary tools and were able to replace the entire kitchen floor in 3 hours and do an amazing job. Despite me being slightly short on material unknowingly they were able to magically make it work and it looks great!

Easy to work with and explained everything and provided opinions to a number of questions I had. Picked up some parts that were needed and graciously took the old dishwasher to good will. Did an excellent job with everything needed. Spent 5 hours with an assistant so roughly 10 hours and coming back to paint which is probably 2 - 3 hours. Fair with the hours and cost. Unlike these rip off large companies that charge an Aarm and a leg. Very satisfied with his work and flexibility.

Lee was great. Very communicative as I tried to work out the details between my tenant, the dishwasher delivery people, and Lee. He was extremely flexible and willing to work around the time of the delivery, and when I was trying to figure out whether to have Lee dispose of the dishwasher, or the company I bought it from, Lee made it less expensive and easy for me to work with him. I do not live in the same state, so I have been looking for someone I could rely on to take care of things in my absence. This is the second time I've hired Lee and I intend to call him again next time I have an issue at the house.

I rent the home with the problems Lee fixed and I live out of state so I have not seen the repairs (which is why I put n/a in the "quality" column), but my very responsible tenant reported that Lee did good work and communicated clearly with her about the tasks. I have been looking for a handyman to be my "go-to" for repairs and I am going to keep calling Lee.

Lee is very professional. He is fast and efficient. His work is well planned and looks great when finished. He works a long day but he also leaves the work site is clean and tidy at the end of each day. If there is a decision to be made mid course he is very good at explaining the advantages and disadvantages of the different options. We will certainly hire him for any future carpentry jobs we have.
