From beginning to end my experience with High Country HVAC was amazing. JC helped me understand things about HVAC I wish I had known years ago. And the install team of Dillon and JP was nothing short of excellent. This is a truly professional team!! Highly recommend High Country HVAC!

With a cleaning and some other recommendations to fix the problem of the AC unit from freezing up I was able to solve my issue for a cost of $90

They did a fast, professional job at a reasonable price. They analyzed my system after installing the new unit and found my return air wasn't sufficient to handle the a/c load of the house, so I had them come back and add additional ductwork. Again, at a reasonable price and in a fast, friendly, professional manner. I have already used them again, and will continue to have the do all my HVAC work.

Arrived at appointed time and completed work in time estimated...Removed and replaced furnace with high efficiency furnace. Also hooked up our humidifier to the thermostat.versus manual system in the furnace room..

JC was readily responsive to both of these issues within a day of both requests. He personally responded to the consultation and his wonderful Ogden tech took care of our second request. Both gentlemen were clear and informative about each issue. I know these two issues might have seemed insignificant to them, but they certainly did not treat my questions as insignificant! They took the time to explain, providing me with "good to know" knowledge and a sense of relief. I will be using High Country HVAC in the future and passing along the company's contact information to others. Multiple appreciations!

We received eight different bids for our new furnace and AC unit. High Country was the last bid we received and the only reason we even considered them was because they were referred to us by my brother-in-law. Their price was around the middle of all the bids we received but what stood out to us was that instead of looking at was already in place and just replacing it with the exact same size; they measured it out and found that our current unit was twice the size we needed. They recommended we get smaller appliances, which we were skeptical of because we had never been able to cool down the second level of our home with the larger units. We took their advice however, and found that they were right on the money! Our home is cooler now than it was the day we moved into our home two years ago. I wish we would have done this sooner! We also had an issue of getting approval for venting our new furnace because we live in a condo. JC was wonderful to work with in getting all the information about the venting so we could present it to our condo association's committee. We got the approval on the condition that High Country got a building permit with the city. JC arranged for that as well and got it all taken care of. We had our brand new AC and furnace installed quickly and efficiently. They installation crew were pleasant and respectful. They answered all my questions about the appliances and asked for permission before making any alterations to my house. We had to run a long vent out to the front of the house and we needed to add a support halfway out, which meant we needed to cut a hole in the ceiling. I could see the concern in their eyes as they asked for permission to do so. I appreciated their asking permission as opposed to just assuming it would be okay. Overall my experience with these guys has been great and I would definitely recommend them to my friends and family.

He was fantastic. He was friendly, explained all he was doing, and worked quickly and efficiently. My a/c went from barely cooling to where I'm having to be careful about how low I turn it down now. I've frozen myself out a couple of times. When I've talked with the owner on the phone he was always very helpful. Before I had them stop by I contacted them with a message through this list and he actually suggested a couple of things I could try on my own first to see if it might help my a/c -- without expecting me to pay a dime for this advice. I was very impressed. When his suggestions didn't work we set up a time for one of his technicians to come in and take a look. Mike showed up within the window of time they gave me, got the work done quickly and answered every one of my questions. I couldn't be happier with the entire experience.

JC Was great. I called him at 9:30 PM because my AC stopped blowing cold air. He called me back at 9:50 PM to go over my issue and try and schedule an appointment. Unfortunately with the huge heat wave going on he was booked out the next day. I was able to have another HVAC person come and repair my unit a day earlier, but High Country's response and efforts to try and fit me in will definitely have me calling them again. I know in an emergent scenario they will be there to answer and help.

I already knew the blower fan was tripping out and was sluggish to turn by hand. The technician quickly identified the problem and the option to either replace the whole blower and motor assembly or to attempt to rebuild. Rebuild was lower cost and he wanted to try that first. He took it back to the shop and was able to do that. Came back that evening and put it in. 8 months later it is still working fine. I thought the technician was very professional and competent and communicated well. Also kept me informed of status in a timely manner.

When I called, JC asked me basic questions. Then, he said that a technician was within minutes of my home. I met the technician shortly thereafter. He went through my home, finding no traces of CO. We then discussed possible reasons why the alarm would go off. We narrowed it down to a possible faulty alarm, and idling a car near the garage (courtesy of my teenage daughter). The idling car practice was eliminated, and the alarm unit replaced. These things resolved the issue. The technician followed up with me the next 2 days to ensure the issue was truly resolved. I happily paid for their services via phone. Both JC and the technician were prompt, knowledgeable, professional, and accommodating. I am very pleased with their service, and will call them for future HVAC needs.

I have no complaints. They did an excellent job. They still are doing an excellent job maintaining for heating and air. When ever I need them I just call and they come out the next day. I particularly like that they call and remind me when it is time for servicing my furnace and air. One of the best companies that I have ever dealt with. Friendly, courteous, no surprises! They are awesome!

The service was great. I would use them again. I had talked to him about moving the air conditioning unit and he told me it would be best to wait until it needed to be replaced. I wanted this because I was turning my carport in to a garage and it would not fit. I felt like he wanted me to replace it with the remodel being scheduled right after that and another contractor said it had about seven years left in it.
