He brings his sons and they can get the job done in one day. He is great, he cleans up after himself, and he's jovial. He is clear in what he is doing, hears your options, asks what you want and gets it done.

Everything seemed pretty straight forward at first glance, and after Hubert came out a second time to install the new thermostats and drop off 3 cases of new custom cut filters, I thought all was ok. Unfortunately, the thermostats were not switching on/off properly. The thermostats kept cycling on and off when the room came up to the desired temperature. Hubert said it was because the main circuit boards were older units and were not playing nice with the new thermostats. At first I thought I was going to need to update the furnace circuit boards, but Hubert contacted the thermostat manufacturer to see if there were any other options. Come to find out, Hubert learned from the manufacturer that he just needed to wire in a relay before the main circuit board to solve the problem. Taking this approach saved me hundreds of dollars. Relays are about $10 bucks, but new circuit boards are $200-$300! In my opinion, Hubert's extra efforts to research a solution saved me a bunch of money. Also, Hubert had to drive all the way out to my house in Park City multiple times to rectify the problem at no additional cost to me. With that said, Bear Heating and Cooling did an excellent job, and Hubert is a friendly, honest, hard-working business owner. It's great to see that good ol' American service isn't dead, and I hope Hubert gets more work through Angie's List.
