I was seen immediately, staff was friendly and efficient.

They had done some blood work the previous month and the Vet. so they didn't have to do much.

I also had another pet looked at for a lump that had developed. The vet stated that she had been shot with a BB gun. There was no possible way that could have happened but no other diagnosis was given.

Setting up the appointment was easy. We took the dog in, got the shot, got her nails clipped, and we were done. After the shot my dog had a small reaction to it causing her nose to swell a little bit. We contacted the vet the next day and they told us what we needed to do if conditions didn't get better on their own. They then said if that advice didn't help to bring her in and they would take a look. luckily the swelling was gone that evening. They are very helpful.

This is not my regular vet. I go to Color Country since it's across from my house. But I had a voucher and it was the only place that accepted it from No More Homeless Pets. The office is clean and looks nice. The younger woman at the front desk put me at ease and I felt at comfortable leaving my small dog there for her spay surgery. My complaint came later when I tried to call and get an update on how my member of my family went thru the surgery. The woman (the older gray haired one)was brusque and only would give me one word answers. It was like pulling teeth. Even if she was B.S.ing she could just said, and quot; She came thru the surgery just fine and is resting comfortably in the kennel.and quot; It would've put me at ease.

I go to pick her up the next day and find out she had bleeding so they want to keep her an extra day. I didn't mind since it shows due diligence. I tried to bring up my treatment on the phone yesterday to the vet and again the same woman starts to interrupt me. I ask her for the courtesy of letting me finish and she walks away. The vet kind of blew me off.

I read some reviews on yahoo and there are lots of complaints centered around this older woman. She needs sensitivity training or basic manners. It's terrible that one person is generating so much negativity for this place. I'm sure this is a quality vet because my home teachers always sings their praises.

If I used this vet I would avoid interacting this person at all and have a very pleasant experience.
