We were about to move into this house and had to get a leak downstairs fixed near a sliding glass door. Brandon came and sealed up the hole well as well as sealed around the entire door. In the end we still had a leak and opted for a new door. We asked for his help again and according to our discussed plan he took out the old door (including all recent sealing jobs) and took out all framing down to the cement and installed a new sliding glass door, sealing everything inside and out very well.
We had taken down wood paneling in the basement exposing bare drywall that he finished for us. He also removed all moldy drywall from the door leak and replaced it. He did a wonderful job on each of these tasks. After all was said and done, there was still a tiny leak coming in at the same corner that we decided must be coming through the porous cement and repaired that ourselves. After several coats of cement patches and sealant outside the leak problem is solved. However, we were a little upset that after all his work, there was still a leak and when a new drywall job came up we hired someone else. Wow, did we ever regret that decision! In comparison of the two we would always go with Brandon over the other company we hired.
The leak was problematic, but if we had let him know it was still leaking I'm confident that he would have been able to repair the cement problem completely.
In the middle of the mess with the door and the leaking we had a situation come up in which we had to remove the popcorn ceiling (containing asbestos) get the ceiling textured, paint the whole house and get everything re-carpeted within a week. Brandon was very helpful, cooperative, and willing to work around our demanding schedule. We took down the asbestos and had to have it textured the next Monday morning before the help came to paint it that afternoon. He came right on schedule in the middle of our small and hectic time frame, worked quickly and efficiently and did a beautiful job on the texturing. There were a few minimal drywall spills to clean up after he left, but the state the house was in at that point, he may not have been able to even see his spills in the middle of all the chaos. I did think he was a little messy when he was here, but that was at the beginning of nine months of remodeling and compared to what I saw in the next nine months he is one of the cleanest contractors in the business. He borrowed my broom to clean up after himself and I didn't know at the time how incredibly rare that was.
His pricing was very fair. He was always polite, professional, helpful, and great at what he does. I'd recommend him to anyone!
