A year ago in July, I employed mr Willison to do a number of jobs on my newly purchased "old" home such as repairing door latches, adding a guard rail to an entry staircase and repairing my sprinkler system. His work was fine on everything except the sprinkler system. About a week after his work, it began to spray water due to a pipe breaking again. I called him, he came over, turned the water off and charged me $40. He did not come back to repair the system. I had another handy man come in in June of this year to repair it.
However, it did not stay repaired and I could not get the repair man to come back. Ergo, I called Baron to come over and fix it plus a bit of electirc work - to get two plugs working that were inoperative.
He came by on about the 15th of August and got the plugs working and measured the broken PVC pipe so he could cut one and come over the next AM and repair it. In all, spent about 30 minutes at my house that day and approximately the same the next morning. How long does it take to glue a broken pipe- about 30 minutes.
The day before he billed me for $94 before actually doing the repair work in the AM. When I looked at the bill a couple of days later, I noticed that he had billed me for three hours labor and $28 in parts. I called him about it and he gave me some story and I told him he had ripped me off and I would never call him again. At the very most, his working time could not have been more and an hour and a half and $28 for a 18" PVC pipe. Come on! It could not have cost more than a dollar or two and he probably cut a piece from his own supply anyway.
Ergo, I would not recommend him to anyone for any work.
