Wasatch Moving Company offers relocation services in all areas of the state of Utah. We offer free in-home estimates in Salt Lake and Utah County. We offer full moving services from packing your fragile stemware to moving gun safes and pianos. All Wasatch movers are trained professionals in all aspects of the moving business. The first order of business once the team of movers arrives at your home is to complete a quick and thorough walk-through. This gives the customer and the moving crew a chance to get on the same page as to what needs to be done and any special instructions the customer may have. Once this process has been completed its time to go to work. Any items that require disassembly will be assigned to a crew member by the team leader, while the other members of the crew pad wrap all the furniture for protection and safe travel. Once everything has been loaded into the truck and secured we will then relocate everything to the new home and place everything exactly where it belongs according to the customers wishes. I thought the reviews could be trusted. Don't believe anything about them being awesome. I paid $1600 the first day for a 3 man crew. I had called 3 times to go over everything in our house (a staff person even confirmed he listened to the call and said I had listed it correctly). The crew they sent out were the 3 scrawniest guys I had ever seen. They damaged my furniture and couldn't pack a truck to save their lives so guess what...couldn't get everything that day. The crew decided they were done at 6pm, even though the work wasn’t done so I got to speak with the owner (Jared) who told me I didn't list correctly because a truck should have solved that. He was a jerk and beyond patronizing. Next day they sent 2 guys that were very strong and one that looked like they picked him up from a homeless camp. In total I paid over $2000 to a company that sucks. You can't file a claim on their insurance because that was a joke too. Needless to say...go elsewhere.

The move went pretty well. But the movers damaged the master bedroom door while moving in a dresser. The moving company was very unhelpful with the claim. We submitted the claim documentation about a week outside the claim window. due to bad communication. Over two months later, I was informed by the claim company that we had not submitted documentation. The claim company refuses to pay anything for the damage. I have burned up more time fighting the claim process than the claim is worth. So the moving company and the claim company did not cover any damages.

I have used 8 different moving companies and this was by far the worst experience I've had. They damaged the headboard and footboard of my bed, my curio, my dining table, and my nightstand. The owner promised to touch things up, but started ignoring me the second they got payment. In addition the movers were slow and lethargic from the moment they got to my home. It took them 9 hours to do what another company had done in 5 hours. They were also about $30 more an hour for 3 movers than other companies have charged me for 4. Overall it was a terrible experience. I would definitely avoid these people.
