We had a very good experience working with the whole team. From the moment we walked into the show room until we thanked the carpet layer as he left with the project finished we were treated well. They were patient in answering all our questions. We learned a lot about carpet from them so that we were able to select just the right type for our needs. They were very patient as we took a long, long time in finally narrowing down our choices to the one we felt worked best for our needs. They patiently had multiple samples sent to us as we explored the many options. Because of their fine service we ended up very happy with our carpet and did't experience any regrets whatsoever.  I would recommend them to anyone. We thank them for their time and consideration through out the process.

They did a great job!

I originally had tile work scheduled for September 23rd. The scheduler was coordinating with the plumbing scheduler. The plumber then called me and told me they'd had to push the date back. They came to take out the tile and only tore out part of the floor, and didn't do around the bathtub. An Angie's List handyman ended up removing the rest of the tile so I could get my new bathtub installed.

I came home from work on the 21st and had a toilet inside my shower for a week, then they called me and said they hadn't ordered enough tile. Then they kept on rescheduling again. They were frequently late when they did show up, when I called them to talk with them about it, they hung up on me twice and they were laughing at me. 

The work still isn't done, they ran out of tile, and the tile they did lay is crooked. It's about 1/2 inch off. They said they'd be here around 10 today, and promised to call before showing up, but I haven't heard from anyone and it's 12:20. Then the tile they did put in they put in over the plastic bathtub protection film.

The women we worked with were great and the installer was very friendly. The owner came to do the bid & he wasn't so great. He wasn't rude--just a tad ornery.  It was a bit uncomfortable. We struggled with calls confirming the schedule a bit but it all worked out in the end.

We have been buying carpet from Kay Riley for 20 years. The carpet selection is great and I like the service.We also have had them install hardwood floors in the entry, hall, dining and stairs. At the present time I am working with them to replace my family room carpet which we bought from them 13 years ago because we are remodeling that area.

Purchased a house (10 years old) in Draper that had carpet my wife described as "hideous". Shopped around with two other service providers, and settled on Kay Riley and Sons. My wife had had previous experience with them, and they also had good ratings from Angies List, so I was pleased. In total, replaced 176 sq yards of carpet, with new pad also. Carpet quality is excellant. Price was very good, also. Carpet layers did a great job, even did some repairs for us on the squeaky stairs. Overall, a great experience! Great people to do business with.

Flooring was installed as expected and the job was done professionally.

I don't have any dislikes. I thought they did an excellent job. I would recommend them.

We spent about $2,000. They were on time and the people they sent to put in the carpet were okay. They did a good job of setting in the carpets and we liked it.

Great job. They were so accommodating, even though the problem (with the carpet I already had) was something they were not responsible for. I needed the job done quickly and they were able to get it done within 36 hours of the original installation appointment by scheduling an earlier morning time than normal business hours. The only additional charge was for the replacement carpet I purchased at their store.

The shortest summary for both jobs is - WOW! Kurt and his assistant showed up promptly and did an outstanding job turning a non-covered, rather ding-looking set of stairs into something that is eye popping nice as you enter our house from the garage. Taylor was equally prompt arriving the following morning for the carpet installation. We were surprised when only one person showed up given the square footage of new carpeting we'd ordered. Taylor worked his tail off all day, over 13 hours on the job straight. He was polite, knowledgeable and gave us the utmost confidence that we were getting the best installation possible that would last a long time. The rooms with the new carpeting really snap now. We should also mention that the staff at the main showroom were top-notch, attentive and helpful when we visited them for the all-important material selection step.

I thought they did a really good job. I don't think that the rates were too high, otherwise I probably would not have used them. They did have good service and were precise in their measurements. I also thought they were very professional.

I would say my overall experience was very good. I have no complaints. The carpet looks good.
