Description of Work: Facts: Owner of company stated the following: 1. We silicone all windows with first a clear silicone and then go back with a white silicone. 2. The silicone we use is $8.00 a tube. 3. We will put new door seals and draft guards on all doors. 4. We will wrap all duct work. 5. The temperature in your basement will increase by at least 7-8 degrees. 6. You will see at least a 20% reduction in utiltity bills or full money back guarantee. 7. I will mail your energy rebate in the same day. 8. Th contractors will arrive at 9:00am. 9. I will call you when I get to your house. Facts: Actual events that took place from above statements by owner: 1. Did not silicone all windows, had to have them come back and was lied to that they did, only used 1 silicone. 2. The silicone they used came from Walmart, a $1.02 per container - no $8.00 silicone used. 3. Only put one new door seal on and they had to be requested to come back to to that. 4. Wrapping of duct work was partial. 5. No change at all in the temperature in the basement. 6. Company is unwilling to honor refund, even half of which I agreed to settle. Won't return calls. 7. Almost a week later and rebate has yet to be mailed in. 8. Contractors arrived one hour late. Contractors promised to call three times and never did call. 9. Owner went and did part of the work and did not call as agreed upon and then left.
